5/5 hotel Hidden oasis in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle. Every one of the staff are welcoming and will try to accommodate any of your needs and requests, you will feel the warmth and hospitality from literally every one of the staff. They will make you feel at ease and at home. From the front gate guards who were happy to answer our questions, the groundskeeper was also happy to explain to us about the art gallery and were inviting us to the hotel’s movie night, pool cleaners who were happy to assist in the pool, and our bellhop luggage assistant Earl, they were all warm and hospitable. And of course the reception and maintenance/housekeeping staff as well! The room was very cozy and clean, and everything is provided upon arrival. The bed was very soft and supple, although the pillows are a little bit in the firm side to my personal liking (This is a nit pick). The bathroom was very spacious and clean as well. The included Henry Hotel Arabica coffee grounds with the French Press were great. The hotel and place itself is beautiful, it has this vintage and Americana aesthetic look to it. The place is stunning both day and night. Henry Hotel is a hotel that we will definitely go back to.

We have stayed at the Henry Hotel in Manila several times over the last month, with our last stay just over a week ago and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This beautiful hotel is a gem and was a real highlight of our stay in Manila. It's an oasis that takes you away from the sensational madness and chaos of the busy streets of Manila, so when you've had enough of site seeing, walking around the massive SM Mall etc, you can come back to this hotel and its calm, relaxed, beautiful and all the staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with the water to our rooms for a day during our latest stay, however the staff and management did everything they could to make another room available for us to shower etc. Thank you guys, we really appreciated your help. The staff, the girls on reception and management (Jing) could not have made our stay more enjoyable on both occasions - friendly, helpful and 5-star service. We will definitely come back to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it to everyone. Sorry, I forgot to mention the food. All the meals (breakfast and dinner) we had were beautiful. If they still have it as a special, the herb crusted pork chops are the best I've ever had. I tried to get the herb crust recipe but missed the chef. Next time!!!

The Henry Hotel is a perfect blend of history, style, and personalized service. Tucked away in a peaceful gated courtyard, it feels like you’re stepping into another era with its beautiful old colonial architecture and tasteful boutique design. Every corner has character, from the vintage details to the lush greenery that adds to its quiet, intimate atmosphere. The service is truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling intrusive. You can tell the staff take pride in creating a special experience for every guest. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home and completely taken care of, and because it is a rather small hotel. We stayed near the reception and it was very comfortable. If you can, get a room with a balcony. The only minor downside is the surrounding neighborhood, which doesn’t quite match the charm of the hotel itself. But once you’re inside the gates, it’s a serene little oasis — calm, cozy, and full of charm. Also, you hear the planes taking off from the airport.

We checked in at 10:30pm with my young child and had to wait just under an hour before the room was ready. The room itself was nice, if a little small, and the bed was comfortable. A couple of issues let it down. My son had a small cut on his lip, which left a few spots on his pillow, and we were charged 100php per pillow. If a pillow had been heavily soiled I’d understand, but this was minor and I don’t think the charge was fair. On departure, reception claimed we’d eaten two boxes of the in-room biscuits, which we hadn’t. They took payment for two anyway, and only when I challenged it did staff describe it as “a confusion.” For a single night’s rest it was fine, but nothing close to what other places offer at the same price. Not overly Impressed.

It’s a hidden oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Manila! Must visit for Colonial style architecture lovers. There are some great galleries and vintage furniture shops inside the compound. Great service, friendly staff and the food at their restaurant is delicious! Worth every penny!
