⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Very disappointing service experience. We were seated outside, and it felt like our table was not a priority at all. The food took an extremely long time to arrive, and some orders never came. We even had to cancel a few dishes because the delay was unacceptable. We also had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water and table napkins, which should already be provided. The service lacked attention, urgency, and proper coordination. While some of the food we received tasted good, it did not make up for the poor and frustrating service. For the price and reputation of this restaurant, I expected much better.
Our bill was around ₱16,000 for a group of 9 but most of the food were mid for their prices. Only the corned beef sinigang and bangus belly are justified for their prices. Moreover, the service was really not that great. Serving time usually takes A LOT of minutes before they’re attended. We had to call a lot of times before getting a glass of water but most customers are non-filipino but they were attended right away lol. Dining once is enough but can’t recommend this. For our total bill, you can get amazing food selection and service from other restaurants.
Came here for an early lunch and was seated immediately. We ordered a few items. It did take a bit to receive the food and to our disappointment the food was not hot but rather just warm. We ordered the deep fried Kesong Puti, the shrimp in olive oil, the bittwr melon, and the calamari. We also ordered the tofu sisig which was terribly off in taste. It tasted awful. We were very disappointed and for the pricing it was not satisfactory. We did mention it to the manager. We hope they attend to these issues.
Lunch for 2 - The food was delicious from start to finish! The serving portion was perfect and filling. 10/10 recommend! We came for the corned beef sinigang. We were given a small sample of the broth to taste with the option to adjust the salt and sour taste. We loved it just the way it was; it had a beautifully balanced flavor. Lots of veggies & meat. Soup was nice and very warm. The bangus with calamansi butter... what a bonus! I expected it to be good but it exceeded my expectations! Not only was the skin crispy but the top layer of the fish was crispy too... the fish itself was so fresh, flaky and tender. The flavor was well balanced between the butter and calamansi... The pinakbet veggies were fresh and cooked evenly. Definitely can't go without the veggies! Overall... no room for disappointment. What a great experience :)
The best Filipino food I've had in Manila so far. Fresh and healthy, which is not so easy to find nowadays. Also a great place to sit outside.
