I had the most incredible experience at Gallery by Chele. I was completely blown away from start to finish. The current theme centered around rice was fascinating - not only tasting it in different forms, but also learning about the various cooking methods and traditions behind it. Getting to see the experimental lab where the team develops plating concepts and new menu ideas was such a unique and memorable part of the experience. The service was absolutely exceptional - warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about every dish they presented. I also highly recommend the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. It’s unlike anything I’ve tried before and complements the dishes beautifully. So many of the courses had this incredible depth of umami that kept building throughout the meal, and the A5 Wagyu was completely out of this world. I was only in Manila on a layover, but if there’s one restaurant you have to try while you’re here, it’s Gallery by Chele.

We spent our second wedding anniversary at Gallery by Chele, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. They first toured us around the space while letting us taste different bites they created using many of the products in their kitchen. We especially loved the sinigang, the kare-kare, and one of their rice innovations — each dish was creative yet comforting. We then proceeded with the 10-course menu. The standout for us was definitely the dessert, especially the cacao — absolutely memorable. The abalone arroz caldo was a bit salty for our liking, but still flavorful and enjoyable. Everything was fresh! 3 hour dining experience so its best to plan ahead ❤️ The servers explained every dish well, even though their menu had just changed this month. Everything felt thoughtfully presented and well-executed. They also gave us a complimentary cake to celebrate our anniversary, which made the night even more special. Parking is available, but it’s best to arrive early. I highly recommend booking at least a month in advance to secure your slot. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back! Planting the dayap seeds that they gave ❤️

An incredible dining experience from start to finish. You can really tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into flavor, texture, and presentation. by the end of the meal, I was genuinely full, which is something not all tasting menus manage to achieve while maintaining this level of finesse and pacing. The service was equally impressive — polished, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, elevating the experience without ever becoming intrusive. The progression of the menu was well paced and memorable. Definitely one of the best fine dining experiences in Manila

One of best tasting menu we had. The ambiance was perfect. Servers were well knowledgeable with regards to the dishes they served. We really had a great time. This is a must try for food lovers. I cannot describe the dishes but they are all yummy! Explosion of flavors with each bite.

We had the 10-course tasting menu at Gallery by Chele. The food itself was excellent, but the overall experience was disappointing, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant. I chose the non-alcoholic pairing, but the drinks were not synchronized with the courses. At one point, I was still on the first course while drinks for the third and fourth courses were already served. By the time I reached those courses, the drinks were no longer cold and felt watered down, which took away from the whole idea of a pairing. During the Endemic Green Garden course, there was also a hair on my dish. The server apologized and replaced my plate, but this caused a delay that disrupted the pacing. My husband had to wait much longer for his next course while mine was being remade and while we waited for me to finish. The food was genuinely great, but the service and timing issues took away from the experience. It was not what we expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Update: Chef Chele personally reached out to us to apologize and address the situation after our lunch, which we truly appreciate. We were also informed that the non-alcoholic pairing was given to us as complimentary, which was a thoughtful gesture. It means a lot when a restaurant takes feedback seriously and makes the effort to make things right.
