A lively wet market where you purchase fresh seafood by weight and take it to adjacent restaurants to be cooked to your liking.

I recently visited Dampa Seaside Market and overall had a great experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and I loved being able to choose exactly what I wanted and have it cooked on the spot—everything from the buttered shrimp to the grilled squid was flavorful and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, perfect for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy a feast by the bay. That said, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, and parking is a bit challenging, so arriving early is definitely a good idea. Despite the minor inconveniences, it’s still one of the best places to enjoy fresh seafood in the area, and I would happily come back again.

Very Disappointing . . . Over priced market seafoods like one female crab is going to cost 1200 pesos each same with lobsters and scallops dont bother to ask king crabs prices . . . And they claim to have uniform prices based on an official srp price list their showing customers . . . Then had it cooked at Claires which was good and a favorite when the singer was actively managing her resto . . . An dnow None of the dishes cooked by Claire for scallops, crabs, Lobster ,Prawns tasted well . . . all were either badly done to just so so . . . Spent a fortune for all that meal . . . We could have done better with a specialty crab bucket restos around . . . Only those who cant cook will give this experience glowing reviews when its clearly a big let down . . .

Big SCAM!! Prices in the menu are cooking charge price ONLY. It’s separate from the sea food price you pay by weight . Plus 15-20 % service charge . Plus 12% VAT. Our 4 persons lunch was initially cost PHP 38,000 . We drop the big orders , it still a high PHP 18,000. Food is regular taste . Might as well eat in a buffet of a 5 star hotel .. probably cheaper and tastier..

From the moment i stepped out of the taxi people were trying to get me to buy everything. I wasn't allowed to just browse without being constantly bothered. Every vendor has essentially the same selection. I did manage to find one that had some very small octopus and got a decent deal on it. The restaurant that cooked it was not that good. I had them prepare the black ink octopus and it was very rubbery. The rice was somehow bad too and the restaurant was more expensive than it was worth. Don't think I'll return here.

This is a bit of an institution on the metro and well worth a visit You might need to pie through the over zealous touts trying to get you to ether buy the seafood from them or use their restaurant Just ignore them and do your own thing Take your time to check all the seafood an get the best price Most of the restaurants are all pretty much the same as far as cooking options and prices Take your time to make your choices and enjoy the experience It’s well worth the visit
