Very disappointing experience. On 9 March at around 8:00 pm, I tried to use the pool table in the hostel and put in £2, but it did not work at all. When I went to reception to ask for help, the service was even worse: the receptionist on duty at that time came out with a very rude attitude and simply brushed it off, saying that the table “does not belong to them” and that I should contact the company myself to get my £2 back. Sorry, but if you have a machine inside your hostel, then from the guest’s point of view it is your responsibility to offer a solution, or at the very least to treat people politely. It is not even about the £2, it is about the terrible attitude, the lack of care, and the complete unwillingness to help. Very poor service and a very bad impression.
Our stay at Manchester YHA exceeded expectations. Staff were welcoming and provided luggage storage free of charge. Unlimited breakfast was affordable, convenient, and really nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was brilliant, about twenty minute walk from the city centre
I was solo from Australia staying for holiday and new year period and had a great time, staff were lovely, coffee good, drinks maybe slightly expensive, but worth it as the people were nice enough. Lobby and sitting space was nice and clean and cozy and warm, candles lit for aroma, reasonable storage in room and good layout. Exactly what's needed for a short term stay abroad. Very happy with my stay. Kitchen facilities was good enough.
The Hostel is very nice, clean and organised, the staff is super nice and helpful. Well located, good transportation nearby and good connections. The food at the Hostel is nice as well, conditions offered are good, good value for money... The only negative aspect is that the internet is horrible, but apart from that, the experience at the Hostel was a very good experience.
Fantastic! Clean and welcoming! Nice kitchen. Tremendous main hall. There is really positive energy and adorable vibes. Stuff was so cute! 😊 The view form the window s stunning. I was reaalt trilled by this. Elevator is a gigantic plus! 5/5 10/10
