3 night stay over the recent long bank holiday weekend. Great location, very convenient for shops and restaurants. Suite itself very well presented, clean tidy and comfortable. Only issue was with the TV which kept freezing, sorted eventually but that was the second day. Not good. Excellent team of staff from management to housekeeping, friendly, courteous and efficient. Makes for a much more pleasant stay. Probably the only downside was that the restaurant was a bit hit and miss, lunch on second day particularly poorly cooked fish. However, overall an enjoyable stay and I would stay again if in the city.

We were greeted by the fabulous Ranjeet with glasses of champagne, so that was a great start! We had a suite which was simply stunning. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and well equipped. Although we didn’t face a busy road there was a lot of noise from street cleaning etc from 6:30 am. Of course it’s a city Centre hotel but it’s something to note especially for the lower floors. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. The dining room is beautiful and service was excellent! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

You can see the full video review on my Youtube channel @travel.stay.explore Stayed for 1 night in a standard double room. As the name suggests the hotel is the old former Manchester Stock Exchange. The building itself is stunning, inside and out. Lobby is fairly small and could become tight and busy at peak check in times, however staff were very professional and you even get a complimentary welcome glass of champagne. Room itself was nice, if looking a little tired in parts, however there were premium features and a well stocked mini bar. Tea and coffee making facilities were excellent as well. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was on the strange side and a let down, considering the 5* rating of the hotel, as the shower was not in the bathroom. This meant there was no where to hang your towel. Very strange for a luxury hotel. Enjoyed my stay at the hotel however and would stay again. preferably in a room with a shower in the actual bathroom You can see the full video review on my Youtube channel @travel.stay.explore

Excellent location, friendly staff and very spacious suites. However, a bit more expensive than a comparable hotel in London. Also, the dine-in options are limited, but the options available are simply DELICIOUS. Suggest for hotel management to reconsider their cuisine offering..
