We've been going to this restaurant for almost 6 years but the quality of the food has fallen immensely before you'd taste authentic punjabi home food but now it all tastes sugary or citric. The dhalmakhni now has a burnt bitter taste to it rather than rich and creamy. The service has fallen Ali is the only waiter who will come and ask and make you feel at home the younger waiters just run around and not paying attention to any orders missing off the table and you have to consistently remind them even simple things like table for the water or spoons. Sadly I feel this will be the last of our visits to this restaurant due to the standard of food.
Food was amazing really good choice of dishes. Tastes were really good for each dish. Atmosphere is great can’t fault service would definitely come back.
This place is absolutely amazing and it’s so good to see a vegan/vegetarian Indian restaurant thrive! At normal Indian restaurants, the options for vegans are always limiting and quite frankly boring, so it’s nice to come to a restaurant like this one and have multiple options. Food: The food here is incredible! Such deep, rich flavours in most of the items. The vegetable seek kebabs are always a stand out and I always come back to them. It’s hard to find restaurants that do them so I can’t resist! The rice and naan are always cooked perfectly and the Szechuan chips are an amazing side dish to accompany the rest of the great food! I got the tofu makhanwalla and sadly I found it to be inedible. I’m not a fussy eater at all, but I had 1 bite and couldn’t finish it. It basically tasted like Heinz tomato soup. There wasn’t a single hint of any other flavour other than sickly sweet/sugary tomato. I’ve had their other curries before such as the jackfruit curry and that was delicious! So I don’t know what happened with the tofu one, but I would not recommend ordering that. I didn’t let it put me off though the rest of the food. The chocolate brownie is also fantastic!! Service: Staff serving are incredibly friendly here! They’re always so attentive with checking if you need more water/drinks or anything else. Even when it’s busy, you don’t feel like a forgotten table which is nice. Overall: Will certainly be coming back here again. With amazing vegan options and great service, you can’t go wrong and always happy to support a local business!
Always keeping a great standard, the food is amazing and never disappoints. The standard of the service is high; Shreya was serving us yesterday. Sanskruti is a highlight and must visit in Manchester.
Visited Sansrukti a few times over the years. Food and service is always excellent. Highly recommend the new breakfast buffet, lots of delicious options, very reasonable for £15 including chai. We will definitely visit again!
