I work in Manchester very regularly and this is now my go to hotel. I’ve stayed twice now (within one week). And the staff have been phenomenal, so welcoming and friendly. The room upgrades have been the kindest offer. People don’t always know what’s going on behind closed doors but I’ve recently come back from maternity leave and leaving my baby is so hard so being greeted by lovely people, a beautiful 10/10 hotel and then offering a room upgrade really helps and with the struggle of being apart/being able to recharge to be a better parent on return. This will always stick with me as my journey back to work experience. Thank you so much. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the bathtub was 10/10. Really handy location near the station. The stays have been exceptional. I wish I didn’t have to leave the rooms! Thank you
This is my absolute favourite hotel in Manchester and a close overall favourite in the world (and I've seen quite a few). The prime location by the canal allows for both a very lively area, with pubs and restaurants really close by, but also offers quiet in the morning. The staff is very kind, will look after you with a lot of care and small attentions that make a huge difference. And the rooms... can we talk about the rooms. The light, the decoration, the comfort, the bathtub with a view, the brick, the amenities, there's nothing not to like. We will keep coming back, every year, and have a fabulous time!
Just back from an enjoyable 2 night mid-week stay at Leven. Really spacious rooms, complete with a well equipped kitchenette, modern bathroom with a great shower and good quality toiletries, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Despite being surrounded by clubs/bars, the noise wasn't too disturbing and ear plugs are provided in case you're a bit more sensitive to noise than we are. The air conditioning was borderline silent too despite being on full blast! Fantastic location for exploring the city centre and I would absolutely stay here again. Didn't try the food/drink offerings so can't comment on that.
Everything about our two night stay at the Leven over the Halloween weekend was perfect. We arrived by coach from Victoria, caught the City free bus to Chorlton Coach station and walked 1 minute to Canal Street in the heart of the Gay Village. What a wonderful atmosphere; friendly, pretty and lively. The 43 room/suite hotel converted from an old cotton mill retains the original brick walls and has been designed with no expense spared. It is just beautiful! Our suite on the second floor, was nothing short of gorgeous with large double glazed windows, fully fitted kitchen, a living room, large bedroom with free standing bath and luxurious bathroom. The king size bed, crisp linen and down pillows were much appreciated. The staff were warm, attentive and efficient. We drank a cocktail before dinner, relaxed with a Talisker in the bar and ate a delicious 3 course meal at the Maya restaurant on the first evening. The Leven is the only hotel I would return to in the vibrant city of Manchester. It is faultless!
This entire review goes out to Caity from the Leven Team, who made my stay so incredible. Very patience, responsive, and accommodating. Thank you again, couldn't be more grateful for one of the best weekends of my life. Shout out Caity!!!!
