I have been coming to HOME five times for Manchester Animation Festival in 2017, 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025! It is the perfect venue for the festival. The cinemas, event space, restaurant and cafe have been outstanding during my visits.
Culturally diverse art and film on show in this fantastic venue. Staff are helpful. Lots of artist opportunities including The Arches studios booking for locals. Artist development team are utterly wonderful. Restaurant/cafe on site or lots nearby including a supermarket. Oxford Road station is 5-10 mins walk away. Do check this place and listings out if you're in Manchester. Yes I am biased and a big fan of HOME MCR.
I go to the cinema here often. Not been theatre or the restauran but heard good things. They have such a brilliant range of films on, many you can't find in most cinemas. Very relaxing environment, friendly staff, good bar downstairs too. Love it 🙌
