Best curry’s in the city centre by a mile. Always friendly people and good portion sizes. The meat melts in your mouth and the flavours are wonderful. I’m always on the lookout for authentic food and this place ticks all the boxes.

Had 3 Curries on rice, naan and salty lassie. Naan crunchy and fluffy, straight out of the tandoor. All absolutely bangin.

Ordered nihari with a naan and a bottle of water. Nice family running the place. One of the best takeaway curries I have had in years 5 stars all the way. Quiet little hidden gem local place down an alleyway - don't be put off by the location. They have a few seats and chairs if you choose to dine in.

Rice and Three Curries £8! I have been to quite a few Rice & 3 spots around Manchester and this takes the number 1 spot. Firstly it gets 5 / 5 on the food hygiene rating and has been around for 30 years. Really convenient location for Northern Quarter and Picadilly area and although there are only four tables in the restaurant when we went at lunchtime there was one available and most people take the food away with them. Really generous portion size and everything is made fresh order, so although it does take a little bit longer to serve the food, you know everything is cooked fresh

I haven't visited for some time but decided to stop by during my lunch break. Despite it being over a year, I was warmly welcomed by the family run team. The food quality was as fantastic as I remembered; their homemade breads are easily the best I've tried. The lamb was very succulent, and the was sauce is rich. It's not the cheapest lunch option, but for the price and taste, it still represents good value. Whilst the location is modest, the experience is authentic. There are a lot of good curry cafes in the area, but for me, Marhaba is still the best.
