Quirky and fun, this place is excellent for chilling out with friends or family and having a couple brewskis accompanied with flavourful food! The meal deal for 4 was plenty of scran (almost too much for 3) and well worth the money. The beers were great, very odd flavours (I got the coriander beer) though very much quenched my thirst. Staff were chatty and very helpful (especially when questioning the odd beers). You need to order from the bar which made getting served very easy. The place was massive and had loads of tables best for large groups. Thankfully it was quiet the day we went so got in and sat down lickity split. Heavily recommend for a wee night out with a big group, has a lovely vibe and is very well decorated inside. Thanks for a lovely experience. Cheers :)

Absolutely Fabulous. To atmosphere, staff and good, mocktails & pale ales. So tasty, fresh, fun, casual, quirky but still fancy. Best place for family , friends, fun and or romance. Daisy was so welcoming, pleasant helpful and amazing service. As were all staff. I will be back x 10/10 recommend

I love craft beer, a pint of the good stuff goes hand in hand with tasty street food which is why I was looking forward to dining at Bundobust. I don't eat enough okra fries, simply because I don't see them often on menus in Derby. This spicy, crisp Bundo version was very good. I couldn't bear to leave them (I was stuffed on the paneer curry) so I took them home on the train as lush leftovers. The okra fries came up well in the airfryer for circa 5 minutes, so I enjoyed Bundobust food over two days (great value for money). Other dishes I enjoyed were the paneer curry and dhokla chaat. It would have been ace to see the accompanying bhatura with the curry to be inflated and hot like a traditional balloon-esque bread. Despite deflation the bread was still tasty. I have not had a dhokla chaat before but I would get again. The yellow sponge base is the perfect base to soak up all sauces, I may well (try) to recreate this at home. Re: craft beer, the board shows a really strong offering. It would have been nice to see a double IPA on the board, but the Patta, a Bundobust-Verdant collab paired well with the paneer curry. Tropical fruit notes went well with tomatoey, onion base of paneer dopiaza. Overall I can't wait to return and visit the brewery site too.

Came here with work colleagues for dinner and it was a good experience. They have a wide and interesting variety of small plates, all vegetarian. I got the paneer tikka and the cucumber salad and really liked them. I found the plates to be small but good in quantity, and the price was okay. I will recommend it for a casual meal.

Visited Bundobust Manchester Piccadilly recently and tried a mix of Indian street food classics – vada pav, chaat, pav bhaji, samosa chaat, and mango lassi. The concept is quite unique – fully vegetarian Indian street food served in a casual, canteen-style setting with a lively vibe. The place is known for its Gujarati-inspired small plates and bold flavours . Starting with the vada pav, it had a nice spicy kick with soft pav and a crispy potato filling – flavourful and satisfying. The samosa chaat and bundo-style chaat were served slightly different from traditional Indian versions (more of a layered, cold chaat with yoghurt and chutneys), but still tasty and tangy . If you’re expecting Mumbai-style pav bhaji with spice levels.. The mango lassi was refreshing and creamy – a perfect balance to the spicy dishes. Overall, the food is Awesome 🤩 flavourful and well-presented..
