This is undoubtedly one of Madrid’s most compelling destinations for wine. The cellar is thoughtfully curated, showcasing some of Spain’s finest expressions alongside a select range of international bottles. Despite arriving at peak hour—with the room buzzing well into the late evening—the service remained attentive and polished. While the vegan food options were limited, luckily there were still a few well choices available. That said, the true focus here is the wine: a venue that stands out in Madrid for both the quality and diversity of its offerings, making it a must-visit. Easily one of the best places to visit for any serious wine enthusiast.

Taberna Laredo is a shrine to product quality. It is rare to find a place that respects the integrity of ingredients with such precision. Their Salmorejo (with crayfish) is arguably the best in the city—velvety, balanced, and deeply flavorful. From the pristine seafood to the perfectly grilled meats, nothing is over-manipulated; the natural flavors are simply allowed to shine. The service is professional and the wine list is exceptional. A gastronomic essential for anyone visiting Madrid

No brainer must visit for all my future visits to Madrid! I felt like the only non local in the place but I recieved the same great service as everyone else! The staff was patient, attentive and wonderful guides! The wine options here are awesome, extensive by the glass options and bottle options. I got the rabbit, razor clams, red shrimp, and artichoke and they were all bangers!

Very well impressed overall. Although I didn’t have reservations they accommodate us after some wait. They have an excellent selections of wines, all of them curated properly. Menu is extensive but everything I tried was very tasty. I recommend the deep fried rabbit ribs, the pan Cristal with tomato, and for dessert the torrijas which were fantastic Definitely will come back to Laredo

Absolutely fantastic experience at Taberna Laredo! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was top-notch and reflected true local taste. The service was exceptional. We had a small accident and accidentally dropped a bottle of wine. Even though it was clearly our mistake, the team handled it with such kindness and professionalism—they replaced the bottle free of charge, which we truly appreciated. A special thanks to Miguel, who went above and beyond to help us choose the perfect local wine and food. His recommendations were spot-on and really elevated our experience. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant—an unforgettable evening overall. Highly recommended for both the quality of food and the outstanding hospitality!
