We had a great experience here. We were traveling 2 of us, and upon arrival, were met with the nicest greeting from Fran who gave us a great tour and helped us feel at home. It was very fun and social with events every night, and a lot of common area spaces. Everyone was always saying hi to each other and it was always bustling with activity. Always very clean and they did sweeps every day. AC was great and we loved our stay here. Would highly recommend!

The reviews are real, this hostel genuinely is amazing. They do a great job of cultivating an open, fun, social vibe while also respecting quiet hours and moving the party outside of the hostel so people who need rest are able to sleep peacefully. The beds are actually comfortable (and no bunks beds, a small miracle!!!), the amenities are top notch (free hair dryers, toiletries, breakfast), and most importantly the staff are wonderful. Fran spent like 30 mins with me drawing all over a map of the city pointing out hidden gems and her favorite spots in every neighborhood, and immediately made me feel so welcome as a solo traveler. Catya runs a hilarious but very tight ship at night to make sure everyone is following the rules, and Brian was a great nightlife tour guide. I had such a blast here! 10/10, no notes, will be staying here again. OneFam 4eva.

Nice and quaint hostel with very warm atmosphere and so helpful and responsible staffs. The location is great in heart of Madrid. Really clean hostel in everywhere. It would be good to have mirror in the rooms. Water temperature was not enough warm for taking shower! They arrange some night activities and free walking tours, provide simple breakfast and dinner that would be some kind of Spanish cuisine. I really recommend this place that would make your trip to Madrid more pleasant!

This was one of my first solo trips and also my first hostel experience, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’m a female solo traveller in my late 20s from Germany, and I felt comfortable, welcome, and safe from the very first moment. The atmosphere is super social and open. I met amazing international people within no time and ended up spending several days exploring the city with them. The hostel organizes group activities like family dinner & going out at night, where staff members join as well, which made everything feel more safe. Overall, it was such a fun, easy, and positive experience, I would definitely come back.

OneFams are all generally top tier hostels, including this one. The facilities are some of the best I have seen in a hostel and it is super social/ easy to meet people. They don't have the family dinners every night, but they were really good when they did have them. Location is great, in the center of Madrid
