all the staff are very nice and polite. it's our first time tried the big Carabineros, a bit shock about the price but it is very rich and full of coral and fat in the head. I mean FULL. understand why it is the most expenaive shrimp in the world. it's GIANT!!! 2 carabineros was 128 euro
Incredible sole meunière. Great salpicón. I eat at Trainera couple of times a year, their quality is always at the top and attention makes you feel right at home.
Best seafood restaurant in Madrid. Wide selection from the Mediterranean sea. Very reasonable price for the quality food, ambience and service. We ordered all the delicacies like fish, lobster, Crab and prawn.
Great wine. Salty fish. Cold potatoes (even after having them replaced) mediocre salad and stale bread. And yet they have a photo of the 👑 dining in the restaurant. So who am I to complain?
We came for the fish, but the experience was a letdown. The service was notably cold; if you speak English, expect an arrogant attitude as if your presence is an inconvenience. The food/service was bizarre: They performed a strange "manipulation" where they moved the fish from one plate to another, but didn’t actually remove any of the bones. It was a pointless show of effort that achieved nothing. The meal itself is incredibly basic for the price. The "salad" is just chopped vegetables you have to season yourself, and the fish comes with a single boiled potato. While the taste wasn't "bad," it was entirely forgettable. Warning: They brought dried bread to the table without us asking and then charged us twice for it. Between the minimal effort and the sneaky charges, it’s simply not worth it.
