I think ordinary tourists won't have time to visit this. However, if you stay in Madrid for a certain period and stay close to this cultural center, it is quite worth visiting. The exhibitions I visited are thought provoking, especially the one about Africa. There are some medium-size libraries, an auditorium and some classrooms. The exhibition halls are located in the basement and the first floor. Don't miss the rooftop garden which is calm and like an oasis in the city area.

Great local arts centre with galleries, café, activities rooms and events. There is a lovely roof terrace although it has limited views out. It's free to get in.

La Casa Encendida is one of those places in Madrid that always surprises you. Part cultural centre, part creative oasis, it has amazing exhibitions, intimate concerts, workshops, and a cool alternative vibe that’s hard to resist. Perfect to drop by without a plan and leave feeling inspired (and definitely wanting to come back). A must-visit if you want to experience Madrid’s most artistic and lively side.

My favorite contemporary art museum in Madrid. Not too big but interesting exhibitions. Make sure to check out the top floor space!

Very modern and conceptual art. Free to visit in the exhibits and the terrace. If you have time then come visit especially if you are planning to go to areas around there like the park.
