Loved my stay here. Everything is spotless. Hourly bathroom cleaning is something I never saw in any other hostel before. Kitchen is also always clean, just as the rooms are. Plastic mattresses made me super happy as I‘ve had negative bedbug experiences in another hostel before. They were comfortable too. Staff is always happy to help and helped me with any question I had. Either about my stay or about exploring the city. It’s also super nice that, even though they are a party hostel, they have multiple comfortable common area’s that are calm and peaceful. I 100% recommend and would stay again. Thank you!!
I stayed here for 3 days, and the location is perfect—right in the city centre near Antón Martín station. I had a great experience overall. The staff truly stood out—they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Faro and Kofi were especially amazing, offering great guidance for planning daily activities and exploring the city. A special thanks to Raquel. As someone visiting from Asia, I faced some difficulty transferring money to buy match tickets since I didn’t have Revolut set up. She went out of her way to help me through the process, and thanks to her, I was able to fulfill my dream of watching the match live. She’s genuinely a wonderful person. Overall, lovely staff, great amenities, and an excellent location. I would definitely visit again!
Cats Hostel Madrid Sol was honestly one of the best parts of my trip. The vibes were incredible, the people were amazing, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Huge shoutout to Jose and Julie they made everyone feel so welcome and included. Even when I didn’t go on the pub crawl, I hung out with the staff, went to bars with them, and got to know them personally, which made the experience even more special. Couldn’t recommend this place more 🤍
People in reception is great! I had life problems and they even listened to me about it at nights. Hostel is completely clean also safe. Keep your eyes open about pickpockets if you are drunk in Sol. But hostel is safe be sure. They have a big saloon to sit and talk to other people. There is a coffee machine,also a machine for food and drinks. It was great to stay here. I would choose this hostel again. Bring a lock with you. If you don't have any, they are selling. Gracias por todo amigos/amigas 🙏
The service at the bar is spectacular they are so nice and provide free tortilla. The rooms are very nice and everyone is very social. The front desk helps out very much they can hold your bags until check in. Marco and Perdo are the best bar tenders you will ever have.
