Not touristy, destination for anyone who loves a good steak and dessert. Well executed dishes, managers can speak English. AND! Best part is they guide you with ordering. They stop you when it’s too much food and advise you accordingly. They also allow you ask for the meat a little little more cooked, not everywhere allows you to btw. So this has been amazing.

Honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in my life. Perfectly cooked, great and yummy sides. Staff is super friendly and helpful for anything you might need. And it’s quick too! Do not order a steak without the grilled bellpeppers or else you’ll miss out! It’s so perfect with the steak. I also recommend their tomato salad. Mmm. For dessert, the chocolate lava isn’t so bad. Not my cup of tea but it was actually delicious.

Highly recommended for steak lovers. Super quality entrecote 1 kg pieces The meat is cooked to perfection. Also ordered grilled leeks and roasted red peepers. Amazing food and a must-eat place. Reservation is advisable days ahead of time.

Absolutely a must-visit in Madrid. The steak was wonderfully flavorful and delicious — easily the highlight of the meal and exactly the kind of dish I was hoping for. We ordered the chuletón nacional, and it was cooked beautifully with great flavor and a very satisfying richness. Everything else we tried was also excellent, including the jamón, grilled leeks, piquillo peppers, and cheesecake. I did not think the bread itself was anything special, but the small appetizer that came with it was really delicious. The service was superb as well. The staff were very kind, friendly, patient, and welcoming throughout the meal, which made the whole experience even better. It felt like a place that takes pride in both the food and hospitality. Definitely one of the best meals we had in Madrid, and I would absolutely recommend it.

We had lunch at Casa Julián de Tolosa in Madrid, famous for its Basque-style grilling!! :) The rustic ambiance set the tone for a relaxed and memorable meal. The steak was smoky and flavorful! perhaps not the best cut we’ve had, but still satisfying. What truly impressed us were the sides: the grilled peppers, sweet and perfectly charred and the CHORIZO!!! easily one of the best we’ve ever tried rich, juicy, and packed with flavor. Paired with a good glass of wine, the dishes came together beautifully. With attentive service and Madrid’s charm, the whole experience was worth it and unforgettable.
