We had dinner at the bar here and it was fantastic. All the staff were incredibly nice, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was comfortable and relaxed. Excellent wine and cocktail selection. The restaurant really favors their specials and it is best not to pick it based on the menu you see online. As described in the bio it is farm to table so a lot of the ingredients are seasonal. We only ordered one item off their main menu. If I was in Madrid again I would visit again
Angelita is one of those places that combines personality, detail and consistency in a very natural way. The space is elegant but relaxed, with a calm atmosphere that works equally well for a casual dinner or something a bit more special. The food is well thought out and carefully executed, with clean flavours and a modern approach that never feels forced. Dishes show precision and balance, and there is a clear sense of identity throughout the menu. The wine program is a standout, with a strong and interesting selection that clearly plays a central role in the experience. It adds depth to the meal and is worth exploring. Service is attentive and professional, without being stiff, helping everything flow naturally. Overall, a very complete experience. A place that knows exactly what it’s doing, and does it very well.
Such a wonderful experience! Great food, great cocktails and great service. I have to give them a shout out as it’s the first time I’ve truly had craft cocktails and I’ve been in Europe since 9/5, bouncing between countries. Now ,for the facts. There’s a stuffy restaurant upstairs and an awesome speakeasy downstairs where you can get great cocktails and food. Granted it’s a smaller menu than what’s offered upstairs, but was fine on my solo visit. They also have a private dining room called the Hibiki that can be booked for parties of 6-10 and offer the full menu, including a chef’s menu with wine or cocktail pairings. Wowed!!! Shout out to Victor and his crew for the 411 and a great experience.
Love love love the cocktails here. They specialise in different kinds of drinks. Every cocktail is made with a special infusion and combined with another taste that hits the spot. I always come here for a good cocktail night and there is still so much more to try!
This place was delicious in impressively simple ways. Don’t miss out on the wontons (I ate mine too quickly and forgot to take a pic). We also got their pisto, tuna tartar, and an off-menu strawberry dessert. Highly recommend getting whatever wine they recommend to you since their wine list is fabulous.
