The Silk Road restaurant at the Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa is easily one of the standout dining experiences in Luxor. Set against the serene backdrop of the Nile, the restaurant blends a relaxed, elegant atmosphere with a menu that takes you on a journey across Asian and Middle Eastern flavours. From the moment you arrive, the service from the Waiter Redwan feels attentive without being overbearing, and the setting, especially in the evening, is calm and beautifully lit. The food itself is where Silk Road truly shines. Each dish is thoughtfully presented, with a clear focus on freshness and balance of flavours. A special mention has to go to Chef Amira, who did an amazing job. Her attention to detail and passion for the cuisine really comes through in every dish. You can tell there’s a personal touch in the way the food is prepared and presented, elevating the entire dining experience. Overall, Silk Road is a must-visit if you’re staying at or near the Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa. It offers not just great food, but a memorable dining experience that combines atmosphere, service, and genuine culinary talent.
We came this restaurant because there's Asian dishes on the menu. Service was good and food was pretty ok too. We ate here twice and it didn't disappoint. View was good. Facing the Valley of the Kings and there, the beautiful sunset right in front of us...🤩
Certainly a spot to go to for fine dining if you crave for Asian dishes. We went for the Indian styled dishes and were pleasantly surprised. Although the chef’s use of tomatoes was a little on the “more” side, overall good taste. The tomato dhania soup was very tasty although it was heavy on black pepper. But it did do the job and I was happy with it. So if you can’t handle a heavy dose of black pepper try and ask for some cream or yogurt on the side to balance it out. The rice pullao was very interesting as the chef has put a twist — added some vermicelli to it. It was super tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The ambience is light and mellow and very congenial. The view is of the hills in the distant across the Nile.
Great food, we went for the Indian options, delicious! Big thank you to Mustafa! who did a great job serving all the customers on a very busy evening. He is an asset to your restaurant. Thanks also to Chef Amira.
You will need a reservation for this restaurant but it’s not worth it. Two servers only for the entire restaurant mean everything is slow from placing orders to actually getting food. The idea of a pan Asian restaurant is enticing but is usually disappointing as no single food item tastes authentic.
