This independent restaurant was truly a gem. We randomly came across it and we could not have had a better experience. It was very relaxed atmosphere and the owner made great suggestions for our meals. Everything we had was delicious and even the desserts were homemade. 10/10 experience!
We had a wonderful experience at Jewel of the Nile during our stay in Luxor. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a warm atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. Our waiter greeted us with a genuine smile and provided friendly, attentive service throughout our meal. The hospitality truly stood out and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious every single time we visited. Not only were the flavors incredible, but the presentation was also beautiful and thoughtfully done. We were so impressed that we ended up dining here twice during our three-day stay in Luxor—and both times the food was consistently amazing. If you’re looking for delicious food at an affordable price with outstanding service, I would highly recommend Jewel of the Nile. It’s definitely a place worth visiting!
The food was excellent! Very tasteful!! My tour guide recommended this place, and I was a little concerned after bad recommendations from other tour guides. I was very impressed with the food! The food was fresh and tasty! And for a fair price!! Service was on point. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Plenty of seating inside. Definitely will come back !
Been coming here most nights. Food is excellent, cleanliness is very good. Staff are excellent. Prices are excellent. Fir us this is the best restaurant in Luxor. We would definitely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
I really love the service here,calm, elegant, and composed.When I first walked in, there was no one else, but I noticed two tables were already reserved. Not long after, more regular customers started coming in one by one.That says a lot : the food here keeps people coming back. The Tajen fish pot (240 EGP) came with at least 2-3 thick pieces of fish fillet, so much!really satisfying! The rich, slow-cooked sauce went perfectly with the rice.I finished all my rice after eating just 1/3 of the pot 😋 The mixed grilled lamb was also delicious, my partner wiped his plate clean in less than 10 minutes! And the juice is a must-try!! Egyptian juices are known for being super rich,most places serve something closer to fruit purée, but here I guess they blend it with a bit of ice, making it refreshingly cold and smooth 🧊🍹 I really, really love this place 💛
