We have been in Luxor for four days and all four days we have had dinner here. The place is small and cozy. Food is delicious, and the portions are great. But most importantly, the staff was so welcoming and kind. A combination of all of these made us want to come back here every time. You will not regret having a meal here, I promise. Our personal recommendations are: - kofta - shish kebab - apple crumble - chocolate mousse - min tea

If you are staying anywhere near or at the Sonesta st. George hotel do your self a favor and make the time to eat here. After reading some of the bad reviews about the food being flavorless or staff not being attentive im not sure what resturant they went to but it certainly wasnt this one. Food was some of the best Egyptian food I've had in the 2 weeks I've been here and the staff was fabulous. Ont leave here without giving them a shot. Also who ever it was that complained about the price was way off the mark and was very affordable if not cheaper than other places I have been to here in egypt with the food being better. Great place and staff will definitely reyurn!

Not very friendly staff (compared to the other restaurants I’ve been to in Luxor). They clearly prefer you paying cash instead of card. I ordered fresh guava juice and strawberry juice. Not impressive. Could be better.

This is a small restaurant that serves good solid foods. We specifically liked the stuff pigeon, very flavorful with crispy skin. The mushrooms soup was hot and full of mushrooms. The chicken tagine was tender and flavorful. Skip the chicken wings, so small and only 4 little pieces. The service was professional and we didn’t have a reservation but was offered a table. Thank you.

A small but well run restaurant. There are many in the vicinity so it was hard to choose but what won me over was the lamb and duck they offered and dessert. Plus a couple recommended us this place the night before. The lamb was so tasty, the appetizers (soup and kidneys) were delicious. The duck was OK, nothing too special. The om ali was incredible and fresh.
