I was extremely disappointed with my stay at The LINE Hotel. The room was shockingly small—one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. For a property that markets itself as a 4-star hotel, the size and overall quality fell far below expectations. Nothing was upscale or premium about this place. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant. It had an old shower curtain hung on metal chains, and the exposed concrete, brick, and cement throughout the room felt less like intentional design and more unfinished and dingy. I understand the hotel was likely aiming for an industrial, minimalist aesthetic, but it came across as unrefined and uncomfortable rather than chic or thoughtfully designed. The gym was also poorly maintained. The floor-to-ceiling windows were visibly dirty, and the water fountain’s filter indicator was blinking red, suggesting it had not been replaced. These details contributed to an overall impression of neglect. For nearly $1,000 over three nights, the value was simply not there. Had I known the room would be this small and the condition this poor, I would have gladly paid slightly more to stay somewhere significantly nicer. The only positive part of the experience was the maintenance staff member who assisted us—he was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the exception rather than the norm. Overall, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it, especially given the many better options available in Los Angeles.
Had a really wonderful stay! My husband and I had never been to Los Angeles and honestly we thought the people would be rude or apathetic to guests (like NYC) but were pleasantly surprised at how kind and accommodating everyone we met was! I'd become so accustomed to poor customer service in big cities, that when the front desk gentleman flashed a big smile and seemed genuinely interested in why we had come, it was a breath of fresh air to have a kind interaction after flying across the country/long day of travel. Your valet parking attendants were also some of the best I've been around. I wish I could remember his name but the young African American man always in a suit was especially great. Quick, kind, courteous and just good at his job. All the front desk staff we can in contact during our stay were also wonderful. Even the cleaning crews we encountered were so friendly (normally upon seeing housekeeping staff in a hotel they tend to ignore the guests). So thank you LINE LA for a wonderful stay! One last note was your bartender- even when really busy on a night we decided to do dinner/drinks at the bar - he didn't let the stress/noise/clamor get to him at all and was quick for how busy he was. We will recommend this hotel to our friends that come to LA! KTown also had some amazing food and I never felt unsafe at night either - another huge plus when staying in such a big city. Thanks again!
Decent 3 star hotel. Not 4 star as this listing says. My friend stayed on the 3rd floor and the windows were old and single pane so she said the traffic woke her up several times. The halls and guestroom walls are unfinished rough concrete. Not our thing. Staff was friendly. Food at the meeting was delicious Mexican. Bathroom had 1 small hook and no place to hang your towel. They had nice bath amenities in the size you would buy for home so that was good as the little bottles are so wasteful. AC fan was very loud. We had a reception in the openaire dining space which is pretty with lots of plants.
5 Stars for The LINE LA! My brother got married and our entire family stayed here for the wedding weekend. We had over 12 room blocks from my side of the family alone, and the experience was amazing. I personally had rooms 1033 and 841, and I highly recommend those rooms for the incredible views of the Hollywood Sign. Next time I stay here, I’m definitely booking one of the suites, but they were sold out when I made my reservation. The vibe at this hotel is unmatched — modern, fun, and full of energy. Also, the restaurant on the second floor was excellent. I had breakfast there every morning and loved it. Great atmosphere, great location, and an unforgettable stay for our family celebration.
Beautiful hotel on the bottom, rooms are tiny and a bit grimy. There's dusty spiderwebs in the corners and the blackout curtains for our room don't work. Which isn't great for sleeping with floor to ceiling windows. Not a ton of soundproofing either, we could hear the street on the 8th floor and our neighbors downstairs were fighting. Nice location in the middle of everything of that's your vibe and you're a heavy sleeper. Book with the hotel and not Airbnb so you can get a refund if needed.
