Stayed here in April 2026 for a vacation. This is a really cute boutique hotel that is right across the street from The Grove shopping center and the Old Farmers Market. Both places are fun to walk around. The hotel has refurbished an older motel and transformed it into a really unique and fun place. Rooms were clean, they have a great little bar/restaurant on site, and the staff were great. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
This hotel is very cute and was perfect for my short business trip. The staff were all incredibly friendly. It was nice to be able to wake up and have complementary coffee in the courtyard every morning. The desk inside the hotel room was perfect for moments when I needed to work from the room. Unfortunately, the bar and restaurant were going through some renovations during the two weekdays that I was staying there, otherwise I would have loved to had a meal and cocktail on site. However, because it’s such a short walk from the Original Farmers Market, I was able to pop over anytime I needed a quick meal or snack and have an abundance of options. The pool was small, but seemed like it would have been fun if the weather was a little better (it was raining while I was there). I would totally come back and stay here again!
I stayed here throughout the weekend and truly enjoyed my entire stay. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was wonderful. I apologize to the kind lady who checked me in I forgot her name but she made a great first impression. And the night audit sweetheart who always greeted me throughout the night was just as pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent compliments to the chef! The salmon was my personal favorite. Bartender Andrew made a lovely Mezcal margarita that I’d absolutely order again. Nikole was my server one of the evenings and she was prompt, attentive, and lovely. I also apologize to my daytime server whose name I didn’t catch. Although I didn’t have a direct conversation with the general manager, I saw him throughout my stay actively staying on top of everything, which definitely shows strong leadership. The rooms were cute and cozy it is a boutique hotel, so of course there’s some normal wear and tear throughout the property. In Room 202, you can hear quite a bit, but I personally didn’t mind as I can sleep whenever and wherever. Your employees are fabulous. The outdoor eating area is gorgeous I highly recommend it. Adding live music on some nights would truly be the icing on the cake. Thank you for such a great experience!
Pros: -Location is good, very close to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and The Grove. Walking distance to numerous restaurants. -You can order amenities like tooth brush or refill of drinking water via a code you scan. -Staff are friendly and helpful. -Free coffee and tea every morning. Cons: -No breakfast available. -we could hear the upstairs occupant whenever they walk and flush the toilet. -the shower head is fixed onto the wall and not detachable. So, when you are waiting for the water to become hot/warm in the shower, you’re drenched in cold water for about 30 seconds.
My daughter and I enjoyed staying here for a few nights in the summer while touring colleges. I know the LA area fairly well and attempted to find a location where I didn't need to drive when possible. This hotel was small but with everything we needed with in ahem, LA walking distance. We checked out the Farmers Market, La Brea tarpit museum, Lucky Scent, ate at a really un-touristy Thai place next door, and picked up a few items at Whole Foods without driving. The valet parking was excellent however, for when we did need our car. Didn't try the hotel restaurant but enjoyed having early coffee available and a dip in the postage sized pool after a hot day out. Would stay again here.
