Justin our server was great. All dishes were prepared with care, from high-quality ingredients, and presented exquisitely. However, I found the chef to take too subtle/gentle an approach towards creating "wow-factor" flavor. Positively, the dishes felt light, not too heavy. They also have an amazing wine selection (by the bottle) and have created a wonderful, well designed, comfortable dining space. 🙏🏾 Dimly lit dining, so pictures are slightly under exposed.

I’m a huge fan of Chef’s Table and I love fine dining, so I visited this place during my California trip. I had heard it was an Italian restaurant, so at first I didn’t expect much and only ordered a glass of Prosecco. But as I tried each dish, I was blown away . I immediately decided to order a bottle of wine 😂🤣. I went with the dishes recommended by our server, and they were absolutely amazing. The wine we chose with the sommelier’s guidance was perfect too. The space was beautiful, and if I lived nearby, I would definitely come back again very soon 💕.

100% going again. Most homey feeling, non-pretentious Michelin star restaurant ever! The bread omg, drenched in amazing olive oil flavours (11/10) would come back just for the bread. Prosciutto a solid start (8.5/10) and only goes up from there! Raviolo has single yolk, probably the most gimmacky part of the menu but enjoyed every second and no more - very very rich (8.6/10). Oxtail Tagliatelle was so tender, flavourful (9.5/10). Duck was surprisingly similar to some chinese flavours I’ve had before with a twist of pear lemon sauce on the side, brussel sprouts also not to be missed in flavours (9.7/10). Atmosphere was homey, hearing about the cheese bar was a delight, and going home to watch the netflix special was a blast as well. Bathroom wallpaper was also very pretty.

Osteria Mozza definitely stands out in a city full of incredible Italian restaurants. The ambiance is one of its biggest strengths. Lively enough for a fun group dinner, yet still intimate enough for a date night. It strikes that balance effortlessly, making the whole experience feel special without being overly formal. Food-wise, there were some real highlights. The salad was fresh and well-executed, and both the short rib ravioli and butter pasta were absolutely amazing, rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The crispy duck was another standout, perfectly cooked with great texture. The only slight miss was the prosciutto, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to everything else. But honestly, the stronger dishes more than made up for it. Overall, this is a place I’d definitely come back to. In a city packed with great Italian spots, Osteria Mozza manages to hold its own and then some.

Excellent experience - not surprising for a Nancy Silverton restaurant! Vibe on point. Food amazing. Servers on top of it. Food highlights were the Burricotta & Spiced Walnuts (the sweetness with the light spice on the walnuts = perfection) and the Butternut Squash Tortelloni. And don’t skip on the garlic bread (hot tip if it gets sent out first: save it to go with your pasta). Zero misses though foodwise - was all amazing. The balsamic on the steak gave it amazing flavor. The salanova was nice and light with such good flavor - loved the crunch of the fried chickpeas.
