It's hard to give a gallery more than one star when you go by to catch the last day of a photo show and it's closed. We phoned the gallery, but no one answered (around 3 pm on a Saturday). Also, I should note, that the building is about as seedy as any gallery I've ever seen with "Alcoholics Anonymous" plastered across the street level door. Now, I realize that the gallery is upstairs and that this could be an example of miscommunication--or that the gallery person was in the bathroom, or whatever, but I suggest gallery goers phone BEFORE you go visit because the gallery is near where no other gallery is and, particularly if you've taken public transportation to get over there, you might be annoyed. If I'm wrong on this, I apologize and will be happy to take this comment down, as all galleries should be supported IF they keep to their publicized hours.
