My experience at Boardner’s in Hollywood didn’t start well. After waiting over 20 minutes for a street parking spot, a man who arrived later tried to take the spot we were waiting for. When we parked, he aggressively confronted us, claiming it was his spot, threatened us with a ticket, and then hit the car behind him while trying to park elsewhere. We were two women and felt very nervous because of his aggressive behavior and threatening looks. To our surprise, he turned out to be one of the security staff, which made the situation even more shocking. After calming down, we went inside and explained the situation to another security guard, Chuy, asking him to watch our car. Later, we saw the same man again acting aggressively toward my partner and told us he can kick us out from the place. So rude. We explained everything to the manager, Keenan, who apologized. Boardner’s is a great place with amazing atmosphere, food, and drinks, but this prior incident ruined our experience. We had planned our day around visiting, but due to this, we won’t be coming back.

THE OLDEST bar in Hollywood! Right across from Musso and Franks- the oldest restaurant. The food is GREAT! The fish tacos are to die for, I usually get the Cobb salad with extra chicken. That and a Pacifico on draft is living life. The girl bartender with the sides of her head shaved is everyone's favorite. She makes the best drinks! Go to Boardners! It's a real gem in Hollywood

Opening at 5pm Boardners has become our local go-to for my husband and I as this was where our first date was. There is such a positive vibe to this place that makes me proud that this is the neighborhood I live in. The staff and patrons are artistic in every different type of cinematic field. Eli, Cat & Keenan are all equally amazing to us and always have been kind, consistent and fun to talk to. And can handle this sometimes very high volume barscape with ease. I recommend the entire menu but tend to ricochet between the steamed dumplings, the angel hair pasta and my favorite salad in town - their Cobb Salad - which happens to have been invented in Hollywood, so its nice that Boardners makes a solid one. Speaking of history, Boardners is that - from the classic Hollywood studio system era onwards this place has served the hard working people of the Motion Picture Industry and you can feel it. There is something special here that makes you want to stay the night, journal, meet new talented friends and enjoy the vibe as it opens up into a busy fun place. A true Actor & Musician hangout ! Every time I'm here I get into awesome conversation with talented and very funny people who are either writing their own content or just performed for the day on a set! The back courtyard is a great place to take guests who visit as it adds to the whole Hollywood vibe and hosts live music some nights and the acoustics are perfection for this.

We had a great night. The drinks were nice and strong. We enjoyed several of their delicious offerings. My friend had a huge burger with fries and she loved it. I had Mac and cheese and pot stickers, which was plenty of food for me. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and the booths are comfortable. This was close to Halloween and they had it decorated nicely.

I am at one of your events right now FIRE THE DJ Why even bother having a Michael vs. prince night if the dj doesn't know any michael or prince beyond top 40 radio it's embarrassing. Have you forgotten how it feels to dance? To discover music? As I type this, The bee gees are playing. Are you serious? What does this have to do with michael or prince. I am a frequence visitor and you guys play the same bullshit all the time from literally reused Spotify 70s megamix playlists with faders I swear. And you DARE to call this a "dj" and request $17 for a ticket. Unreal. You need better people as of yesterday. CHANGE.
