A wonderful experience that exceeded expectations. We stayed here on a Saturday evening for one night for my birthday on points. We were upgraded to a nicer room and given a cocktail voucher which as Diamond Hilton members was much appreciated. Ian on the front desk delivered exceptional service as did all of the staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The hotels decor is second to none and the location is simply astounding but I've enjoyed the service at lesser hotels a lot more. We stayed 3 nights in a classic room and here are the bits I found awkward and took the shine off the stay. - We were asked what milk we wanted in the room in advance and simply didn't get what we asked for. I'm just not sure what the point in asking is. - I had requested a bath instead of a shower well in advance of our stay and the request wasn't acknowledged, mentioned, or fulfilled. - When we came to pay our bill at the end, a bunch of unforeseen charges were added including a bill for a visit to the library that wasn't even ours. They also add a "discretionary 5%" on your bill at the end for the room cleaning and concierge... I've never seen this before even in the states where tipping is next level. Most people probably don't like the feeling of disputing their bill but this felt like it crossed a line. It should be an opt-in rather than an opt-out if you're going to do it. I'll probably stay in the same area at a different hotel.

Unfortunate to have to give a 3* review, because this was overall an excellent experience. Highlights - Staff were very polite, from the door people to the restaurant. Location is as good as it gets. Rooms are very well appointed and the shower pressure is top notch. The restaurant and bar are phenomenal, both in terms of food and service - I would eat there even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. Amenity spaces are excellent and stylish. Lowlight - 5% “discretionary” service charge is charged to your room on checkout, which you have to expressly ask to remove. I cannot stand this kind of thing; do not put customers in awkward situations. The staff were good, but it’s an extremely expensive hotel - not to mention, every meal at the restaurant came with a 12.5% service charge, and those were the staff that we mostly interacted with. So, what was the extra £40 for? One night of housekeeping and someone opening the door for us once or twice? Such a self inflicted wound to turn a good experience into irritation on checkout - I’d really recommend just baking this into your room costs.

NoMad London delivers that rare mix of heritage grandeur and modern edge. The building is beautiful — classic façade, refined interiors — but it never feels stiff. The atmosphere strikes a balance between luxury and ease, and the service is polished without being overbearing. Rooms are thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and quiet despite the central location (which is ideal for Covent Garden and the West End). Communal spaces — especially the restaurant and bar — have real presence and energy in the evenings. It’s not the cheapest option in the area, but you’re paying for experience as much as accommodation. For a stylish London stay with character, it absolutely holds its own.

Our second stay at NoMad London was even more special than the first. We stayed here a year ago when my wife was pregnant, and the team made that visit unforgettable by gifting us a Jellycat for our future baby. Returning one year later with our baby in our arms made this trip feel incredibly full circle. This time, we stayed in the stunning Magistrate Suite, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The suite was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with the unique elegance that makes NoMad London feel so special. Every room detail feels intentional, stylish, and luxurious. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but the hotel made it effortless. They provided the perfect crib for our little one, and the entire staff was warm and accommodating throughout our stay. Luigi made check-in such a wonderful experience and took exceptional care of us from the moment we arrived. That level of hospitality truly stands out. We were welcomed with delicious desserts on the table and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. Room service was excellent, and the bellmen were always so kind and eager to help with the stroller whenever we needed assistance. The location is also unbeatable and perfect for enjoying London while having a peaceful and luxurious home base to return to. NoMad London has now been part of two very meaningful chapters of our lives, and we are so grateful for the memories made here. We will absolutely be returning the next time we visit London.
