The Hoxton is an incredibly welcoming hotel with a great atmosphere. The space feels warm, relaxed and beautifully designed. I didn’t know Shoreditch before this stay, and even though it’s not right in the city center, I found it to be an amazing and genuinely beautiful area, full of character, creativity and great energy. One thing I really loved is the lobby area — it has a vibrant social scene with a restaurant and a DJ, creating a super cool vibe that feels lively and fun without ever being overwhelming. Despite the buzz downstairs, the rooms are quiet, comfortable and perfect for resting, so you get the best of both worlds. What truly sets the hotel apart, though, is the people. Everyone is genuinely kind, helpful and friendly, which makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I stayed here for a full week, and the consistency of the service and overall experience was excellent throughout. I would absolutely stay here again.
I have stayed at The Hoxton Shoreditch many times and I fully intend to keep coming back in 2026. The hotel is very well located, close to Old Street station and just a few minutes from Saint Pancras, with plenty of food options in the area. It has recently been refurbished and both the rooms and the ground floor look even better than before, with a new and incredibly charming winter garden that is perfect for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. What stands out the most for me, though, is how genuinely kind and helpful the staff are, including the staff taking care of breakfast in the mornings (there's a French gentleman and also a blonde lady that are always so nice!). I would especially like to also thank Angelica and Victoria for their support and warmth throughout my different stays. It is always a pleasure to return and find their friendly smiles at the reception desk. That makes a real difference compared with many other hotels.
These used to be cool hotels. I have stayed in them more many years but I’m seen a gradual and consistent decline in service. The staff reluctantly agree. The rooms are getting tired and amenities have taken a nose dive from, cheap instant coffee, to unbranded shampoo and the value water. It all feels like a cost saving mission but the price of the room is still sky high! For the first time it gave premier inn vibes. Get back to cool!
Only came to eat and for coffee while working on my computer. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the space is great to work. Food is nice as well. The only bad part: the guys at the restaurant reception have a horrible smell coming from their mouth during speaking. Was a big turnoff and quite unexpected odours. Please give them toothbrushes and mouth wash before the day starts lol
A stylish new hotel in Shoredich, near the underground, in a quiet area. The rooms was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The personnel will make your room up on upon request, same if you need something refilled (water, coffee...). We found this accommodation a very good choice and would recommend other travellers (not on the budget side) to valutate it as a very good option.
