One of the best quiet locations in central London. Up to 20 minutes walking time to Buckingham Palace and 30 minutes to Westminster abbey. Highest level of service with hotel employees trying to help in any way possible. Would strongly recommend for anyone coming to London for business and leisure. There is currently small construction site in the back alley of hotel, although it didnt disturb us in any way

We spent here the Saturday night airy the kids and have been just spoiled. The room was unbelievable and food truely amazing. Kids had their best time and were so pleased with the gift and treats they found in the room. We will definately come back!

This hotel used to be my absolute favourite in London - a place I genuinely loved and regularly visited. My friend and I have been frequent guests over the years: dining in their restaurants, visiting all three bars, having lunch and dinner there, and even staying at the hotel multiple times. We were well known to the staff and always felt welcome - until today. Today, an incident occurred that completely spoiled our day, our mood, and our desire to return - even to the restaurant. We simply walked in to make a reservation for one of the hotel’s restaurants for next week. My friend was holding a takeaway coffee. At the entrance, a woman (possibly a concierge) looked at us and, in a cold and unfriendly tone, asked: “Can I help you?” — not as a polite greeting, but as if we needed to justify our presence. Shortly after, my friend was asked to leave the hotel entirely because she had a takeaway coffee. The way this was handled felt unnecessary, inhospitable, and frankly humiliating - especially for regular guests who have supported this hotel for years. I asked to speak to a manager. He apologised -which I appreciate - but the damage was already done. Luxury is not just about interiors or reputation. It is about how people are made to feel. Unfortunately, one unprofessional interaction was enough to turn what was once my favourite hotel in London into a place I no longer feel welcome in. It is deeply disappointing when individual staff behaviour undermines the image of a hotel that prides itself on excellence.

The The Connaught is truly an exceptional hotel. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel warmly welcomed. The service is impeccable — highly professional, attentive, yet genuinely warm and personal. The interior design throughout the entire property, from the rooms to the entrance area and the bar, reflects timeless elegance and outstanding quality. The selection of food and beverages is equally impressive and perfectly complements the hotel’s high standards. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning.

My family and I stayed at the Connaught for 5 nights and it was genuinely the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! Not only are the accommodations beautiful, the food incredible, but every single one of the staff are so friendly and professional! They took such care to stock our rooms with fruit & water, get taxis for us every morning, and to serve our big family at breakfast. Their high tea is also exceptional for anyone looking to do that. I cannot recommend this hotel more, thank you to all the desk assistants, servers, cleaners, and doormen at the Connaught who made our time in London so special 🫶
