Loved the stay, the room was really comfortable and without any noise ( which is really surprising). The staff was extremely friendly and polite. The location was fantastic with the train and underground stations nearby. I just think that showers should be more comfortable with some shelves or cupboards for toiletries and clothes. Overall I loved my stay at this hostel.
For the location you can find cheaper and better hostels. But, here you get a locker, separate girls & boys toilets / shower rooms, a fantastic kitchen, a chilled lobby space and more. Tbh, the one thing I don't like, and this is no fault of the establishment, is that there has often been nasty surprises left in the toilet. I assume some of the clientele aren't used to taking a dump. That said, it's very convenient and comfortable.
I came down from London on a Wednesday evening to attend an event on a Thursday. It was an early start for me so rather than stay with someone I knew I chose to stay at Click261 for convenience and also because I had injured my leg and didn't want to walk too much. The staff and other guests were very welcoming and I really enjoyed my stay. I've stayed in dorms in London, across the UK and Europe before, alone and with family and friends and this was probably my favourite experience. The beds are pretty basic when it comes to comfort and sleeping so close to so many other people who may be going to sleep and getting up at completely different times to you is not right for everyone! I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and that was about right for me. I was lucky to be staying with polite and friendly guests and also tried to be as patient and considerate as I could be. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The lifts in the building were clean and reliable and there was good provision of toilets across all floors. There was a selection of interesting looking books and games in the reception and social areas. All in all a lot more than I expected for a lot less.
Was a nice lil hostel in an ideal location within walking distance to King's Cross Station. I'd definitely use Clink again if I needed a hostel. I stayed in a large mix dorm room, there were lockers in the room as well as sinks. Individual bathroom and shower at the end of the hall. Reception were super friendly and helpful. Provided me with a towel upon request.
Functional but dirty rooms that are not cleaned regularly (dust all over the room). The toilets or showers are not cleaned regularly either (dust in the aeration filtres), the toilets/sinks are often clogged. The shower can be either hot or really cold. Breakfast is good and cheap but really simple. There is a kitchen available for free between noon to midnight. Overall the hotel is handy but noisy and not really comfortable.
