The rooms are gorgeous. Extremely comfortable bed, great shower and products. Towel heater in the bathroom is fab! Rooms so well stocked with umbrella and adaptor. Unfortunately though we were really disappointed with the staff. There is never anyone at the reception and usually a long wait despite pressing the bell. The man who originally met us was very unfriendly. He very bluntly told us check in is only at 3 when we enquired if there was any chance the room was ready when we arrived at 2. At no point were we welcomed to the hotel or told about the amenities etc. At our actual check in, another man served us and while he was nice, again the overall experience was really lacking and not in keeping with the general vibe of the hotel. Very disappointing.
I had a great stay at this hotel in Westminster. The area felt very safe, especially as a solo traveler, which was important to me. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The service was friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated having a restaurant downstairs, it was very convenient. My poach eggs was cooked to perfection .There are also many nice restaurants nearby, so there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. The location is excellent, close to a metro station, which made getting around the city very easy. Overall, it offers great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.
Absolutely perfect stay here, we were able to check in early and the room was extremely spacious compared to other 4 star hotels in London I've stayed at. The bath was divine and almost big enough to lay down in, and the floors outside the bath were heated. The cafe downstairs was also pleasant and high quality for fairly reasonable prices. The hotel is near Victoria station and walking distance from several high quality restaurants and parks. Next time we're in London I expect I'll book this hotel for the entire trip. The only slight downside I'll mention is the loft involved several flights of stairs which was tricky with a suit case, but In my humble opinion, totally worth the walk.
We held our post wedding ceremony dinner here and it was fantastic. The food & service was great and everything went incredibly smoothly. The private dining room was a lovely space for an intimate family get together.
I hosted my 40th birthday party in the event space downstairs and it was absolutely perfect. The decor is incredibly cool, with loads of fun art and mismatched furniture, the staff were attentive, professional, helpful and kind, the food delicious (and plentiful!) and the drinks very high quality, at a good price. For a private party, the space is ideal as you can play your own music and they do a corkage and cakeage deal - so you can really personalise your party. There is a private bar in the space, too, with dedicated staff there to serve. I would highly recommend hosting a party here. Thank you! Lucy
