I truly loved this place. The common rooms are cute and cozy, the beds and pillows are actually comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Everything just felt easy here. But my favorite part, by far, was the staff-- especially after staying for two weeks and actually getting to know them. Vini greeted me at reception with the most infectious smile and was so kind from day one. Vanessa is wonderfully silly and I loved our random conversations about literally anything. Rosalie was incredibly kind and honestly reminded me of my besties back home. Manuel was so cool and I’d run into him out and about a few times, always a good time. Adriano, Gi, and everyone else made the place feel warm and welcoming. The volunteers were also so amazing!! The facilities are some of the best I’ve experienced in a hostel, but it’s really the people that make it special. Special enough that I’m genuinely considering volunteering here next time I travel through Europe. Thank you to the whole team for making it feel like home (and sorry this took me so long to write haha )

I had a wonderful 6-day stay at Home Lisbon Hostel and it genuinely felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hostel has a great atmosphere, is clean, well-located, and makes it easy to meet people while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. A special thank you to Rosa for the delicious breakfast every morning — it became one of my favorite parts of the day. Also, big thanks to Vane, Jonas, and Manel for being so friendly, kind, and helpful throughout my stay. They really made the experience more personal and memorable. I would happily stay here again.

WOW WOW WOW an incredible two nights stay in this hostel !!! It was my first time in Lisbon, and only my second solo trip, and home hostel truly made my experience the best it could be. To start with, the location is amazing, a perfect central spot to be based. Everywhere was clean and comfortable, I stayed in an all female room which was in a separate area to the mixed rooms which felt really nice and private. Then, the VIBE. Wow, the vibe is just the best. Mama’s family dinner every evening is such a special experience, I joined it 2/2 of my nights in Lisbon because I loved it so much. Being sat around a table, with people from all over the world, sharing stories and experiences and laughing together was just BEAUTIFUL! And Mama is such a warm, kind lady who cooks up a storm - the mashed potatoes were by far the best I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of mashed potatoes! The walking tours with Paula and Wendel were so funny, interesting and another great opportunity to meet people. Shoutout to all of the staff especially Gui, Vane and Rosi !!! An amazing team, an amazing place, an amazing city, thank you and see you again in the future ❤️

My stay at Homelisbon Hostel was absolutely wonderful! The place is beautiful and really feels like home💛 A huge thank you to Rosalía and Vivien at the reception — their hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness made my stay unforgettable🫶🫶The breakfast was delicious, cooked with love and care for only 5 euros, the common areas were very clean. In general the hostel is very cozy and the location is great, in the very centre of Lisbon. The best hostel I’ve ever stayed so far. Highly recommend !!!! Дякую Розалія за твою гостинність🧡 🤗🤗

I just had breakfast here on my first morning, and I’m honestly blown away. This is hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hostel — and easily one of the top 10 breakfasts I’ve had anywhere in my life. From the hospitality to the preparation to the pure deliciousness of the food, everything was exceptional. And Rosalia — wow. Her energy, warmth, and care made the whole experience even more special. You can feel the love in the way she runs the space and prepares the food. If this was my first morning here, I already know I’m going to love this place. Thank you, Rosalia, for setting the tone so beautifully.
