This must be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I cannot think of a single thing I would change. The concierge staff were so warm and friendly, as were the staff at breakfast. The room was superb, with the most comfortable bed ever. The location was spot on for visiting the city centre; despite being within easy walking distance of all the hotspots, there was absolutely no noise after dark. And to cap it all, we received a generous gift on arrival and again on our final night. Thank you to all at the hotel for such a wonderful time.

Note - Didn't stay at the hotel. Just had dinner so no review for the Rooms. Dinner was fantastic. Had an excellent time with my partner and her parents. The food was well priced and tasted great. Had a nice mixture of Portuguese dishes which we all loved. Our server was excellent in helping us recommend food and drink - we thank you for your help! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by for food. Obrigado!

This is our absolute favorite, go-to hotel anytime we are in Lisbon. Beautifully appointed and located in the heart of the city. But really makes it rise above similar properties is the professionalism AND human kindness of the team there. We've made so many wonderful memories there thanks in large part to the staff. That is why we always stay there. It is like coming home.

My wife and I just stayed at the Almalusa Baixa last week and it was a fantastic experience. It was our first time visiting Portugal and they were a great first stop. Our driver (Pedro) was waiting for us when we arrived and got us to the hotel quickly, even though there was a marathon that day. When we arrived, we were greeted by Diego and Fabiana at the front desk. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They gave us a lowdown on the hotel, amenities, etc. and also providing a lot of great recommendations for our 3 days in Lisbon (site seeing, food, etc.). They also told us what to avoid and keep an eye out for in certain areas. The recommendations they gave us were very local focused. We were in close proximity to a lot, but also not on a main street, which was nice. 10 minute walk in any direction had us in a lot of great places for food/drink, sites, and shopping. The room itself was great. Very clean, comfortable, and always services timely. It was our favorite hotel stay during our 10 days visit. Can’t say enough good things about the hotel and its staff. It was a night and day experience from what we had elsewhere. I would highly recommend the Almalusa Baixa in Lisbon for anyone considering a trip to Lisbon.

What a gem of a hotel! We stayed at the Alma Lusa Hotel on the Praca do Municipio in Lisbon for four wonderful nights in March. The hotel staff are warm, welcoming and helpful, and our room was spotless and refreshed daily by the meticulous house keeping staff. We loved the historic feel of this small boutique hotel, and the central, yet quiet (even with a Praca facing window, and great view!) location was ideal for exploring all that Lisbon has to offer. Finally, we had a superb dinner in the hotel restaurant and our daily breakfast (included in the rate), was AMAZING! There was a wide variety of options, including to order eggs etc. for those wanting more than what the plentiful buffet had to offer. We highly recommend the Alma Lusa for those looking for a small, centrally located, friendly boutique hotel.
