An amazing hotel in an old colonial house decorated with incredible art. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The location was excellent and within walking distance of the coast, shops and many great restaurants. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet excellent. We did the pisco sour and ceviche making class offered by the hotel and that was interesting and a lot of fun. I would definite recommend this hotel.

We went one evening to the bar, which is reflected in the rating because it felt overpriced for what we received. To be fair, it was also a very quiet night, and we were the only two people there. That said, the place absolutely has the potential for a great vibe. The interior is set in a beautiful turn-of-the-century-style building, with incredible art displayed throughout the bar and surrounding rooms and hallways. There’s also a wonderful gift shop featuring authentic Peruvian memorabilia and art pieces. Beside the shop is a series of gallery rooms which, during our visit, housed a contemporary art exhibit that was free to explore and enjoy. In hindsight, it feels a bit unfair to rate the place so low, since our disappointment was really based only on the high prices for the drinks and food rather than the atmosphere or overall concept.

First of all, this part of Lima is hip. Lots of restaurants, art galleries and parks along the Pacific. This hotel is one block from the water (no beach, just great views of surfers). Breakfast was excellent. Rooftop bar has excellent cocktails and views. Great hotel to relax after touring Lima. Vibe of area is like South Beach, FL or even Key West. This small hotel is excellent all around.

Stylish luxury hotel in the artistic Barranco neighbourhood where art, food and local handcraft is in walkable distance. The building was built in 1914 as a summer home and has been carefully renovated. The whole hotel is like an art gallery - a remarkable collection of paintings and sculptures from local artists throughout the last century are on the display. The rooms are comfortable and true to their origin. The hotel offers a rich buffet breakfast, as well a la carte options - try the Peruvian eggs. The dinner menu features all Peruvian classics and the bar can equip you with a proper pisco sour.

I’ve been to Hotel B countless times for breakfast, both for work and for leisure, and I’ve also stayed overnight there. Every time, I’ve felt great, and I’ve always enjoyed the food and drinks (back when I used to drink). The location is perfect, the food is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful.
