Do not stay here. I have never written a review before but created an account because I have had such a bad experience with hotel. The service is terrible. The hotel initially canceled my reservation only 3 days before my stay. They had requested prepayment (which is reasonable) but when I tried to make the payment, I spent a week calling the hotel to try to pay and hung up on every time I called and offered to pay. The hotel then canceled my reservation and it took 3 hours of calling and talking to others to resolve it. It took maybe 7 hours to resolve something that should have taken 5 minutes. Once I arrived, I found that the hotel had hidden charges. I stayed here on March 28th and booked a suite for 3 people, including one child. After I arrived, I found that the suite did not have a bed for my 5 year-old son despite it being clear on the reservation. When I asked for the extra bed they requested a charge to do so. In sum, do not say here. Stay in the Belmond Miraflores, which has excellent service and similar rooms but does not have hidden charges. The cost of these charges make it so that the Belmond is cheaper anyway (as everything is included).

Our favorite part of Lima was staying at this hotel. They were incredibly accommodating. The hotel itself was clean, organized, and had lots of little touches. The breakfast was also delicious, noticeably better than most hotel breakfasts. Would return for sure!

Lovely hotel in nice area. I’m partial to staying on the coast in Miraflores, but this is a lovely hotel and the breakfast is enjoyable.

Everything about this hotel is truly exceptional — from the service and cleanliness to the amenities, it’s a solid 5-star experience. However, there’s one major drawback that really impacted our stay: directly behind the hotel is an open-air sports complex, just about 15 feet away. It’s active from 8 AM to 11 PM daily, with loud basketball games, shouting, and children screaming throughout the day and into the night. Unfortunately, the noise travels easily, making it hard to relax, especially in the evenings even with outside double doors closed. The hotel is otherwise wonderful, but they really need to find a solution to this issue — soundproofing, scheduling limits, or at least notifying guests in advance would make a huge difference.

Amazing experience, huge comfortable room and patio, and friendly, courteous staff. My husband and I felt like royalty the whole time. The fitness and pool area are small but worked well. The lobby is stunning. Everything in our room was perfect. The spa was beyond luxurious and I got the best massage I’ve ever had!
