Great food and service however the atmosphere can be better as the restaurant felt cramped. I got the Pisco Sour which was great and the chicharon de Pescados which was delicious. They have a tiny Dominican Republic flag in the corner and I was informed they hang the flags up when a customer brings it to them. Si eres de la patria, trae una bandera grande para que la puedan colgar.
Recommended by a local, good food and good value! Love the ceviche, but I find the causa to be too saucy. Love the decor of a family restaurant, there is a story about the owner being from Argentina. The service can be slow and very little English is spoken, but it wasn't a problem ordering. Would definitely revisit when I come to Lima again.
Many people recommended this place and it lived up to the hype. Everything I’ve tried has been good and the ambiance is nice. I really like the white beans and spicy salsa they put on the table.
Fun atmosphere! Not my fav ceviche. We got the Nikkei ceviche and it just didn’t taste that fresh and like it was drowned in sesame oil. The servers were super nice and fast though. We might have just caught a bad apple
Lol I think we ordered wrong. The Nikkei ceviche was toughhhh. It was kinda mid ceviche with sesame oil on it ?? We also went at night so probably less fresh. The atmosphere is amazing. The service was amazing and so fast. I made eye contact with the server and she SWUNG around - so on her game. We saw a line at lunch but there wasn’t one for dinner.
