My husband and I ate dinner at wing lei this weekend. Overall it was an amazing experience. The service was impeccable from the women at the front, to the bartenders, waiter etc… they were incredibly attentive and detail oriented. It was my birthday and we received a nice gift and small treat. For food we ate the Wing Lei sampler which I cannot stop thinking about the shrimp toast with the sauce. The barbecue ribs were good. I wasn’t a fan of the crab salad. We also ordered the crispy pork with sweet and sour sauce dish which was a 10/10 perfectly spiced and such a great juicy texture. We got the free range chicken with chili garlic sauce which was just okay in my opinion. The atmosphere was nice. I liked the gold decor. Everything was very clean. I will say I was a bit disappointed that the tables were too wide for a two person dinner. It made it difficult for my husband and I to hear eachother. I feel this took away from our experience. For a restaurant this upscale I would expect the seating to be a bit more comfortable and conversational.

Very disappointed. The tasting menu is a gimmick for someone who has no clue about high end Chinese cuisine. The truffle dumpling was swimming in butter lacking any flavor or sophistication, dry on top as if it’s been sitting on a counter for hours waiting to be served. The sea bass was a Japanese saikoyaki stewed preparation with creamy Thai red curry sauce, nothing like expected. And then came the biggest disappointment of the evening - what was stated on the tasting menu as “Peking duck” arrived as a piece of duck with tons of fat between the skin and the meat on a piece of white bread toast topped with black caviar. Those who know what real Peking duck means will understand the disappointment bordering on disgust that I had to endure. We questioned that type of preparation and were offered to have the “traditional” Peking duck experience instead. What has arrived was an Imperial duck (skin served together with the meat) not a traditional Peking duck as known in Taiwan or Singapore (the textbook places to enjoy the Peking duck). After that they asked what we would want to do with the rest of the meat. Traditionally it would be soup and rice or noodles. Here they only offered a choice of one. The soup was decent. That’s all. Very sad experience. No manager ever stopped at the table to inquire about our lack of positive experience. You can also smell the tobacco smoking from the casino.

Wing Lei in Las Vegas serves exceptional food — every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cherry-shaped dessert with lychee black tea mousse, cherry compote center, and vanilla crumble was a true highlight! Our waitress was a bit brisk, but the food and overall experience more than made up for it.

Had dinner here for the first time and it did not disappoint. We chose to go with the chefs tasting menu and it was an amazing experience. The ambience and decor in the restaurant was perfect. The service was top notch and makes the restaurant experience such a stress free time. Every dish that came out was perfect and amazed us at how good they were. The plating was perfect, the flavors were perfect, and the dessert was perfect. You have to try the Wagyu crispy roll, the Peking duck, and the short rib was to die for.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. The service is amazing, we ordered two dishes which were a bit spicy, taste was incredibly good though. Got a piece of cake for free from the restaurant. The 3 layers desert was also free at the end. Remember to make reservations before going.
