It isn’t often I feel the experience was perfect but our dinner at Joel Robuchon was perfect tonight for our family. We haven’t been back to Joel Robuchon in 20 years and we’re so glad we’re back in Las Vegas. We’re normally at L’Atelier but it’s nice to be back at the main restaurant where everything is refined. We opted for the non-tasting menu since our group likes to choose what we eat. The amuse bouche was light, tangy, flavorful- sangria gel with fruit. It definitely got my taste buds ready. We had lobster and foie gras for the two appetizers and had wagyu beef and lobster bouillabaisse for the entrees (had same orders for the 2 out of 3 of us), and chocolate soufflé and rhubarb for dessert. Everything was perfectly cooked, temped, and delicious. The bread cart is delicious- our favorite is the personal baguette. It’s crunchy, light, and fluffy all at the same time, and with the Normandy butter and salt, it can be a meal on its own. Then, there’s the pastry/candy/sweets cart with 42 different delights. I think the Joel Robuchon baker and pastry chef are phenomenal. I highly recommend.
I have tried some French restaurants but not a big fan. So far, Joel robuchon and Eiffle tower are my favorites. If you make the reservation via MGM app or website, there are only 2 options listed: tasting menu and express menu which you can decide which tier among 3 you order on site. They also have vegan menu and Wine pairing. If you state the special occasion while booking the reservation, they normally offer the complimentary cake for the birthdays or anniversaries. And each table gets a loaf of pound cake to take home. My favorites here are lobster, scallops, and the cold creamy foie gras. The famous French duck always scares me as it’s too raw, so our server had the chef prepare ours medium which is not as raw as other tables. The bread cart and dessert cart are fun presentations yo your eyes. And you get to select what you like and ask for more if needed later. It’s actually an intimate (not spacious) dining environment but with classy and luxurious interior design with indoor and patio (still indoor) seatings. There are 3 different areas of the restaurant: waiting area with open bar, main dining room, and the artificial garden seating. The service is lean back and friendly, comparing to the solemn servers in Eiffel Tower.
Had the pleasure of dining here in April 2026. Overall, it was a great dining experience that was very suitable to Vegas. Definitely a good spot for celebration, but not necessarily for foodie + The entire experience was just extravagant: bread and mignardises carts with unlimited selections; abundance of classically expensive ingredients like caviar, lobster, wagyu, foie gras in most dishes and at relatively big portions; tastefully decorated dining room; precise and impeccable service from every single servers for the entire dinner. +/- None of the dishes were outstanding to me. It could be because I prefer a more modern take on French food. Presentation was a bit messy, and some of the accompaniments didn’t work (hard pass on that iceberg lettuce with scallop). Their uni was the most disgusting uni I’ve ever had in this life + The best dishes to me were the foie gras, scallop, wagyu, mashed potato, panna cotta. All the bread I tried was good, accompanied by the amazing Bordier butter. For dessert cart, I preferred the chocolate stuff over the baked goods, which were underwhelming
If you're looking for a high quality tasting menu in Las Vegas this is the place. For 2 people including tips you'll pay over $1000, but you do get an excellent culinary experience. The petit four was the highlight for me personally
Very impressive food, hospitality, and atmosphere. We were given the royal treatment immediately upon arrival, enjoyed cocktails in the sitting room while our table was prepared. The staff and atmosphere is top tier. We very much enjoyed our interactions with the staff and they were very conversational, something I feel is missing often these days. The each course of food and wine were delightful. I look forward to spending another evening in the future.
