With over 79,000,000+ views on my Google reviews as a Level 9 expert Google Reviewer, I always aim to give clear and honest feedback. Hoover Dam was amazing to see in person. The views are beautiful and there are plenty of areas to walk around, explore, and take picture perfect photos. The history behind the dam makes the visit even more interesting and worth the stop. One thing that really stood out was seeing how much the water levels have gone down over the years. Refer to the photos because you can clearly see the difference and just how far the water has dropped. It really makes you stop and think when seeing it in person. The wait to cross the gate was not too long and everything moved along smoothly. The lookout points are stunning and best of all it is free to visit. Bring water because it can get very hot and there is not much shade in some areas. Parking can be limited at times. Wear good walking shoes if you enjoy exploring because there are plenty of places around the area to walk, climb, and take in even more views.
Open space, fresh air, beautiful history and landscape. Wild life around (please don't feed or yell at to get the animals attention).250th light show was beautiful! I will post many photos from day to night. Disability, family, pregnant friendly.
First time at Hoover Dam, was an interesting experience. Stopped here on our way to Lake Mead for a hike and heard there are amazing Americana night shows during holidays like 4th of July. Looking forward to seeing those photos since we won’t be back to see it live.
If you visit Las Vegas you have to go to see the Hoover Dam. Take some Dam pictures. Go on a Dam tour. Buy some Dam souvenirs. We really enjoyed our time. The short film about the dam's history and construction is quite interesting. The exhibits were fun and informative. We spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed our visit.
Amazing structure. Fantastic to see in person. Took the 30 minute tour as we got there too late for the 90 minute one. It did not disappoint. Great history, learned a lot on the building of it.
