With so much history, we had to try the Golden Steer, and our group absolutely left full and happy. We had a large party of 12 for a birthday and not only was the staff on point the entire night, but the food was terrific with no mistakes and optimal timing. Their featured appetizer is their table side Caesar salad, which was deliciously prep’d by Sam who was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Most of our table had steaks, which were all perfectly cooked. Sides were also great. Highly recommend for parties or just a nice date night out.

I had been eyeing this place for quite some time and decided it would be the perfect spot to celebrate my wife and my anniversary. I initially couldn’t secure a reservation through OpenTable, but after giving them a quick call, they were able to accommodate us—definitely worth the extra effort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The timing of each course was impeccable, the food presentation was beautifully done, and the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The atmosphere really stood out—warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. We were seated in a booth, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy to the experience. The steak sauces were especially memorable, each one adding a unique flavor that elevated the meal. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family.

We recently dined at Golden Steer Steakhouse in Las Vegas and had a mixed experience overall. We started with the escargots, which were so good — buttery, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. The fried calamari was also solid, crispy and well-seasoned. The Caesar salad was tasty, and the tableside presentation was fun to watch, though it leaned a bit more sour than I prefer. For the main course, we ordered the 24oz ribeye, and it was done right. Cooked properly with great flavor and exactly what you’d expect from a classic steakhouse. The Prime mac & cheese was very good — creamy, rich, and one of the better sides on the table. The creamed spinach was not bad, a decent complement to the steak. The twice baked potato, however, was on the harder and drier side, which was a bit disappointing. Beyond the food, the experience itself felt slightly off from the beginning. It was noticeable that our server seemed less enthused compared to others we saw working the room. At a place known for its classic Vegas steakhouse vibe, service energy really matters. All in all, the food was mostly solid, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the reputation considering we booked over six months in advance.

An outstanding classic Vegas dining experience from start to finish. I walked in and was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar, which turned out to be a great way to experience the place. The atmosphere immediately sets the tone old school, elegant, and full of history, and the service was absolutely top notch from the moment I sat down. Started with the beef cheek croquettes, which were exceptional. Rich, deeply flavorful, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. A fantastic way to begin the meal and easily one of the highlights. The ribeye was truly outstanding. Cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned, and full of flavor. Yes, it is pricey, but the quality absolutely delivers and you feel like you are getting exactly what you came for. This is steakhouse cooking done properly. Between the food, the service, and the timeless Vegas atmosphere, this is a place that lives up to its reputation. A special experience and one I would happily repeat.

Always an amazing experience here. Shout out to the staff first and foremost. Alfredo (broke my heart) was awesome. He gets it. The interaction. Personable. Sense of humor. Meal is always insane good. That Caesar though. Oof. TIL next time!
