Went here with my coworkers. Payed ¥15000 at the bar and the bartender said I spat on her. She probably didn’t think I spoke any Japanese because of my looks (I look western but speak fluent Japanese) and I realized she was ripping off foreigners. I was then thrown out the club by the bouncers. I knew a person that worked at the club and she checked the CCTV but there was no evidence of me spitting at the bartender. The worker that checked the footage even admitted that I haven’t done anything wrong (I have the evidence by the way). Bartender took my money but the manager accused me of spitting. I wasn’t going to post this but even though the staff checked the footage and proved that I was innocent, I haven’t received any sort of apology from the manager. I was sort of a regular customer for over 10 years and spent some money here and this was the treatment I got. Once I get a formal apology I will take this down but the bartender and bouncers are complete racist.
Different rules on different days. Depending on probably the guy working. They have 3 fees: 1000 Tourist 2000 Male 1000 female On thursday I entered with my passport picture for 1000 as I am tourist. Saturday they wanted 2000 because Male and picture is not allowed. Who the heck would take the real passport to a night out? So we continued. Rating is based on the thursday experience and the 2 different rules policy
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “Unforgettable night at WORLD KYOTO!” I didn’t expect Kyoto to have such a vibrant nightlife — but WORLD KYOTO blew me away. The energy in this club is insane: multiple floors, booming sound, international DJs, and a super diverse crowd. Everyone was dancing like crazy and just there to have fun. The vibe is open, electric, and super welcoming — especially if you’re a foreigner visiting Japan. The staff were professional, the drinks were decently priced for a club, and the lighting setup made it feel like a mini Tokyo rave scene tucked away in the heart of Kyoto. Music leaned towards house and techno the night I went, and the DJs absolutely killed it. If you’re in Kyoto and want more than just temples and tea houses, don’t skip this place. Come after midnight — that’s when it really goes off. 🔥🔥🔥 10/10 night. Will be back!
Such a fun place. After midnight we had great time with japoneses and westerners. Drinks are not the best, but I think it is ok for a disco club, but could be improved. Music is great, mix of pop with electronic songs. Toilet always clean.
