Famous for its incredibly smooth, creamy pork-bone (tonkotsu) broth that is rich without being overly greasy.

Eating ramen and gyoza at Se no Kaze felt like being hugged after a long journey. The ramen was deep, comforting, and soulful, every sip warm and full of care, while the gyozas were perfectly crisp, juicy, and made with love. Totally worth the loong wait (almost 2 hours). Make sure to wait even if you are the last in the list, there is a high chance that you might get in.
After seeing the instagram reels decided to come check it out. Had the Kyo no shio ramen and Yamato no pirikara miso ramen with a side of gyoza which was served with 3 sauces. All the sauces and gyoza were nothing special. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart from frozen ready gyoza and the sauces were just bottled sauces. The shio ramen was also meh just tasted like any other ramen but with a weaker broth, the char on the pork was a really nice smoky element of the dish though. The miso ramen was significantly better and was one of the only things we ate in japan with a decent spice level. For the price and quality you are getting if you want just a regular bowl of ramen I would suggest going somewhere else. If you want something spicy Yamato no pirikara miso ramen is an option
The food was delicious! When you get there you add your name and party size to a sheet and wait to be seated as it’s very small inside! This is a small family run business and the food speaks for itself We ordered the ramen and gyoza and honestly was so delicious the food comes fast and it’s the perfect atmosphere would recommend especially if you like more creamy broth ramen
Flavor: flavourful and salty brother. Very well charred charsiu. Egg a little too cooked but good nonetheless. Wait time: 1.5hrs+. Wrote my name down at 8pm and got served at 9:35pm. Speed explains as only one person cooked in the kitchen, another serving/cleaning/dealing with cheques - on a Saturday night. Language: English menus available and only foreigners ate here. Price: 1300yen for a standard ramen, adding an egg would be +200yen, two more charsiu meat +300yen. Pricier than your normal ramen shops. Overall: Nothing to fault as its good flavour and prime location. Speed of serving ramen left to be desired though. I recommend coming 9-10pm, much shorter queue and they still serve customers despite what Google says on their opening hours.
The best ramen I've ever had! Delicious, tasty, creamy broth, with really tender chashu pork slices. The grilled pork slices were nice and crispy as they were cooked fresh just before serving and tasted like high quality meat. Really nice cosy atmosphere and lovely staff. I wish I could go again and again! I had head that there might be a long wait for this restaurant, but as we were here in winter (with less tourists) we only had to wait about 15 mins to be seated inside. I also appreciated being able to order a half serving of noodles because I always find a normal serving too large for me. VERY HAPPY! Arigato gozaimashita 🥰
