If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Kyoto, Noku Kyoto is a fantastic choice. The hotel stands out for its exceptional cleanliness—rooms are spotless and very well maintained, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The service is equally impressive. Staff are attentive, professional, and always ready to help, creating a welcoming and smooth experience from check-in to check-out. One of the biggest highlights is the location. Situated right next to a subway station, Kyoto is incredibly convenient to get around. Despite being so close to transportation, the area remains surprisingly quiet, offering the perfect balance between accessibility and peaceful rest. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here—you’ll be glad you did.

I was very lucky to stay at the hotel when in first opened in 2016 and more recently just shy 10 years later in 2026. Very happy to report that not much has changed. Very very conveniently located a few steps away from exit 4 of Marutamachi Station. Hotel is impeccably clean and modern. Rooms very good. Only thing that had changed was that breakfast is no longer in the cafe on the first floor but in the basement restaurant! Wish I could have stayed longer. My favourite hotel in Kyoto.

Loved this hotel. My room was larger than expected, clean and modern but with a simple aesthetic. The staff were very helpful on several occasions and the location was great - right next to one subway station, on a direct line from Kyoto station. The hotel is also located on several convenient bus routes for travelers on a budget who want to explore different corners of Kyoto without spending all of their money on taxis.

Noku was underwhelming hotel for the price. Paid 300 per night but the room was medicore. Its nice and clean and close to station in a good area. Room we stayed at had no view. Had a view of a wall see picture lol and had pool of water below of windows. We had much better hotel at osaka half the price. I was little disappointed. Room has air purifier and not sure why but maybe for good reason but i had to clean air filters myself as it was dusty. I dont think i can recommend this hotel for the price but if it was cheaper would been good hotel to stay. Spacious and nice clean entrance. I think there are better hotels for a better price if you look close in this area. I asked about no view in a room but no change was made but apology was provided.

Stayed in this hotel for a few days, and was very pleased with the location, quality and above all the staff service, they were very helpful and went above and beyond to try to make us feel welcome and happy. I had been looking for a particular snack for days and asked them where I could find it, they signposted me which I was thankful for, but was very surprised when they surprised me with some of the snacks at the hotel and also signposted me to a closer location. Reception staff English language was also very good which helped us a lot when discussing travel plans and best routes/transport to take. Thank you so much Emi Nagao, Miku Tanaka and Yann Mamonoff for an amazing service and for making our stay wonderful.
