If you speak Chinese, you basically don’t need the menu. Aunty(staff) is so aggressive, she doesn’t give you time to think or even touch the menu — it’s basically Omakase: her way or the highway. The food was decent. The wings are their signature dish, though honestly I’ve had better. The stingray was interesting and worth a try. The experience itself? Horrible. But hey, that’s part of the tourist grind. Overall, it’s a once-and-for-all night market experience — I won’t be back, but it’s worth checking out if you want a story to tell.

noticed there are a lot of tourists here, but the vibe still feels very local, which I really like. The food is a mix—some dishes are nice, while others are just so-so. The satay and mapo tofu were pretty meh, but the fried Hokkien mee and mee hoon were really good. It’s better to come earlier to avoid the crowd. My family enjoyed the overall vibe!

Overall food quality was average. Huge variety of choices of typical zichar dishes we can find anywhere. Pricing was affordable because the portion was smaller. Generally the food flavour, quality and fresheness was average, given the pricing. Most dishes served was lukewarm only. Ok to eat but nothing memorable to shout out here. Very typical hawker standard. Environment wise- Saw a small baby cockcroach crawling within the menu. Bathroom cleaniless was also very hawker centre standard.

We stopped at Wong Ah Wah on Jalan Alor for a quick evening snack, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. We ordered the famous grilled chicken wings, some satay, and a few small side dishes, everything was freshly cooked, super tasty, and full of that signature smoky flavor you can only get from proper street-style grilling. It’s a lively spot with a great local vibe, perfect for casual dining and people-watching in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and flavorful. The chicken wings alone are worth the visit - perfectly charred, juicy, and slightly sweet. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, delicious local food on Jalan Alor.

Without needed much introduction, this place is famous for tourist and due to highly promoted in little red book, they have been flooded by china tourist. Food is good, cater local taste as well. Stri fried noodles(keow teow), bbq chicken wings and grill stingray is a must! If you like strong beer, go for Carlsberg special brew (gold)
