Great atmosphere and affordable drinks as well. Tuak, langkau, beer and special cocktails were available among others and everything was pretty affordable. Bartenders were friendly and took care of any questions i had about the menu in a prompt and friendly manner. Soundsystem and bands were great too. Good vibes overall. Will definitely be back for more!
Owners are gems. Brian Gomez is not only so talented (have you read his book "Devil's Place"? Hilarious!), but more winsomely to me, a prince of a fellow who supports community causes too. The place takes after its owner...so cool. Appreciate that they have vegan food too.
A great hidden gem in PJ for live music lovers. Merdekarya has a cozy and intimate setting that makes performances feel very personal. It’s a wonderful place to discover local musicians, indie bands, and creative performances. The atmosphere is relaxed and artsy, and the crowd is usually very supportive of the performers. Drinks are reasonably priced and the vibe feels very community-driven. If you enjoy live music and supporting local talent, this place is definitely worth checking out.
Awesome space for the local music scene . Was there to watch my favorite band perform. No cover charge. You get a drink and u tip the musicians. They've got upstairs (music performance space) and downstairs where you wait before performance begins
Eggnog was creamy, perfectly spiced, and honestly so good. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
