Exceptional Michelin-Starred Steakhouse with Petronas Tower Views Marble 8 delivers a memorable fine dining experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Located atop the Mandarin Oriental and overlooking the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the setting alone makes it a fantastic choice for a special occasion. The meal started strong with standout appetizers. The foie gras and bone marrow were the highlights—both rich, decadent, and packed with flavor. The foie gras in particular was beautifully prepared and set the tone for the rest of the evening. The steak was exactly what you’d expect from a premier Michelin-starred steakhouse: high-quality beef, expertly cooked to the requested temperature, and full of flavor. Service throughout the meal was impeccable—attentive, professional, and polished without ever feeling intrusive. At roughly $200 USD per person including tip, Marble 8 is certainly not inexpensive. However, between the exceptional food, outstanding service, and spectacular location, it delivers an experience worthy of a celebration or special night out. Highly recommended for steak lovers and anyone seeking a memorable fine dining experience in Kuala Lumpur.

This was my first visit, and I highly recommend making a reservation. The environment is pleasant, and the food is delightful. They offer a wide selection of cocktails and wines, and the steak was particularly tender and juicy.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had, especially at this price point. (RM 500+ per head) Lobster Salad (188.00) Not fresh. Strong fishy smell. Portion was tiny, but honestly, that was a blessing—we didn’t even want a second bite. Ribeye M9+ 300g (488.00) Extremely underwhelming. No real beef flavor, just fat. Completely not worth the price. Wagyu Beef Cheek (168.00) Overly salty and again lacking any proper beef taste. The mashed potatoes felt like instant powder—dry, grainy, and artificial. Even IKEA does this better. Caponata (38.00) Tasted like canned spaghetti sauce. Hard to take this seriously at a place claiming Michelin-level standards. Asparagus (38.00) Bland, no seasoning. Served with a vinegar sauce that didn’t make sense and didn’t help. Overall Spent over 1,100 for two people and left disappointed. The food lacked quality, flavor, and care. This does not justify the reputation or price. Will not return.

Great View! My ribeye steak was overcooked, however, Ashik's outstanding courteous service made up for the Service and Atmosphere of our dining experience and celebration of my wife, Thelma's birthday. Thank you Sir Ashik! You made my wife's birthday celebration a memorable one!

Overall a decent steak place. Steaks were cooked well, 8/10. Quality was acceptable 8/10. Price was on the higher side. Surprised by the mini sliders at the start. Bread basket was alright 7/10. Cream spinach was too salty! Brought out 1.5 yo there on a weekend. The only table with a kid. They accommodated to our request to well done a portion of the steak. High chair was clearly underused as it was super dirty. Had to wipe it down thoroughly. Service and staff were nice.
