I went on a Friday, so it wasn’t too crowded. The staff there were all very friendly. At the entrance, there’s a security guard who checks your bag, then you go to the registration counter to sign in and get a short briefing. Don’t worry, entry is completely free. You can only bring your wallet and phone inside…just put your bag in the locker, and don’t worry, the lockers are free too. Overall, it was really great. There’s also a section for children on the lower level, plus a café and a souvenir shop. But during my recent visit, Level 3 was closed for maintenance 🥲 Hopefully next time I I can come again and explore Level 3. Highly recommended to visit this place!

It was a fun and informative visit. We enjoyed learning about the history of money and seeing old, new, and rare currencies from different periods. The museum is quite large and well maintained. While the currency exhibits are very interesting, there are not many historical paintings or highly interactive displays, so some sections may feel a bit simple. Overall, it is a nice place to visit if you are interested in history, art, and the evolution of Malaysian currency.

This museum is free entrance. Just scan QR for registration. Very informative and lots of interactive activities for kids especially at level ground floor. Ample parking at basement which is free during weekends only. Overall it was a great experience. Budget-friendly place to go 😁

Free entry for Malaysian. Simply scan qr code. It has 3 levels ranging for Islamic bank, economic and art. I overestimated my family. We enjoy kids gallery the most, I felt Rich seeing all the bank notes stacking up the wall.

Free entry and free bag storage — yes you do need to store your bag before entering, but the locker is complimentary so no stress there. Good to check in advance so you're not caught off guard! The highlight at the entrance is the money tunnel lined with over a million Ringgit — impressive concept, though I did briefly wonder if anyone would notice if I helped myself! 😄 Only Level 2 was accessible during my visit as the upper floors are currently under renovation. Despite that, there was still enough to keep me occupied for a few hours — though I was running on an empty stomach again so probably didn't give it the full attention it deserved! 😄 There's a café inside which was a welcome sight. I had a premade sandwich and chamomile tea for RM 8.30 — decent enough for a quick break but the tea was just a Lipton teabag so don't expect anything fancy. Good enough to fill the gap though! Would recommend visiting once the renovation is complete to get the full experience across all floors. For a free attraction in KL city centre, still well worth the visit.
