A consistently top-rated hostel offering organized evening events, comfortable bunks, and a friendly, non-party-hard social vibe.

We had a separate room with our own bathroom. It was overall good for its price, lacked the curtains though …. Overall vibe of the hostel is kinda empty, like there was no one at the reception, just some guy emerged and gave us keys from the room. The location is very good and the hostel is quite. If u are on the budget, the separate rooms are a good choice.
The hotel has a convenient, budget-friendly location within walking distance of the Old Town. We stayed in a shared room. Each guest had a locker with a key, which was helpful. However, the rooms themselves did not have locks, and staff entered without prior notice (for example, for daily maintenance). This made me feel uncomfortable while sleeping. We also shared the room with some staff members, which felt a bit strange. One night, a staff member seemed and acted drunk in the room—not a dangerous situation, but mumbling and a noticeable smell. There was no reception but staff were generally around and were nice and helpful. They did not speak English, so we used Google Translate to communicate.
Wish I read more reviews. Thankfull we were only here one night. We arrived 5 hours after check in time, there was no one working just given codes, key in the door for us- beds were not made and nothing had been cleaned. They had someone come and they were ready 20 minutes later, but still! I've stayed in hostels all over the world, i was so uncomfortable here. Floors were so dirty everywhere, there was a horrible smell in the room and the building walking in- just totally unpleasant. It was also pretty much empty. Also, very hard to find because they do not clarify it is actually Mosquito hostel you are looking for. Had to read Google reviews to find that out.
I have stayed in over 50 budget hostels across the world, and this is one of the worst. Do not trust the old positive reviews - it used to be called Mosquito Hostel, but it now operates under the name Lazemaze Hostel. I stayed for 3 nights. Beds were never made after guests checked out, which strongly suggests that sheets are not changed between guests. The hallway is dark and grimy, and the floors are filthy (you can’t really see anyway). The bathrooms are disgusting - dirty floors, clogged drains, and one even had a poop stain that remained untouched after a day. The common area is dirty too. Clearly, they don’t clean the facilities regularly. There are people staying here long-term who are not travellers. They mostly stay in bed all day. They do not disturb anyone, but it does change the overall atmosphere of the hostel.
Considering the price, this hostel was OK. but it felt very empty, soap/toilet-paper was often lacking. There was also no reception, which felt unfriendly
