THE PROS: Firstly, the view! Our fourth floor room overlooked the garden and at night, you could see the Wawel Castle lit up from our window. Our private room was spacious enough, clean, and provided a TV, wardrobe, table with chairs, towels, dimmable sconces, and separated toilet and shower which was nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They let us store our luggage in the secure luggage room after we had to check out. THE CONS: "Kitchen" is an overstatement. Be warned that there's no stove or oven, just a microwave, fridge, and sink. There was actually a pile of people, ourselves included, who thought they'd cook a simple dinner of pasta only to be disappointed. Also, the Wi-fi went in and out and could be improved and there were just two thin pillows. Generally, it was a good enough hostel with a supportive staff and a great location. I would stay there again.

Honestly I have to give this a low score because I booked the exact same place before twice, same description etc… but this time I got a room without a bathroom and had to pay an extra 17 Euros to upgrade it ! The place was clean enough, and as you would expect it’s the standard international / hipster crew. Price really isn’t that great, I booked a two bedroom private condo with a large shower and balcony for much less only a few blocks away the week before, and had it been available , I wouldn’t have stayed here ! If you want to be around loud university aged punks this is your place , not for someone with class or integrity like me.

The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. You can constantly hear traffic, drunk people leaving clubs, as well as ambulance and police sirens throughout the night, which makes it difficult to sleep comfortably. The next day, I informed the receptionist about the issue and asked if I could be moved to a room on the opposite side of the building. She told me there were no available rooms at that moment and that I would be informed as soon as one became available. However, nothing changed until I checked out (I had booked a total of 5 nights). The metal bunk beds in the rooms are also very noisy. In addition, whenever one person moves, the other person is inevitably disturbed. There is no elevator in the building, so walking up and down to the 4th floor is not comfortable, especially since you must leave the building every time if you want to smoke. The kitchen is clean and tidy, but there are no proper cooking facilities available — only a toaster and a microwave. The bathroom and toilet are combined and separated only by partitions. This means that three different people can use the shower, toilet, and sink area at the same time, which is not comfortable at all. Also, the shower in the bathroom was broken. Overall, would I stay here again? No, I would not.

24h reception, spotless room and bathroom, location is great between the Old Town and Jewish Quarter (5 min walk to the tram stop). Also, free luggage storage (and earplugs!) Only minor negative point is that there is no lift

This is a very quiet and clean place. It's right in the center. The window overlooks Wawel Castle. It's so clean, it feels like home. I'll definitely come back. And the prices are very reasonable. There's probably no other place like it in Krakow.
