Had been waiting more than 5 years to return here. This had been fabulous before. Now finally (after Covid and wars) we were able to return and they have improved the location. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was good (Enteracote and hamburger)but few problems: Service was awful (even tho not that crowded) Server was helpful but then disappeared and took 10 min even to bring water. The Foie gras was small and very expensive but some might like it. The steak came out luke warm- like it had been sitting while she forgot about us (don't get it cut up). Overall very pricey (which we knew from the past) but no longer worth it. Chaval.
One of the best restaurants in Jerusalem! Lots of great options on the menu inspired by Kurdish cuisine. Order the dessert platter for a fun musical performance!
Fantastic meal last night. The restaurant has been upgraded, and the staff were friendly, and our server was very professional. She made excellent recommendations. Each disk had its own story and flavor palette. The charred Cabbage had the perfect char, and my Hamberger was a 10+. I asked for a side of grilled onion, and it took it to another level. The one area they can work on is the French fries. They were too oily and did not come to life on the plate. Don't miss the Bannan Desert; it sent the meal to a 5-star rating.
Excellent! So lucky to find this gem on a Christmas Day! I think it definitely deserve better review, and more people should come and check it out! Glaze goose liver with semolina cake was divine! Cabbage was good, chicken livers were delicious, whole sea bream was fresh, Thai sea fish sashimi was good, but I wasn't that into it (maybe because I was blow away with the goose liver! Definitely a place to come! Btw, warning, portion is HUGE!
Wonderful restaurant! The atmosphere, the food, the location... Everything is just perfect. I was there with some friends, and we tried a lot of dishes from the menu. Everything was delicious and perfectly served. Some of the dishes come as 4 pieces, so you need take account of that when you come as a group.
